Thank you so much for this. Just bought some quadstars for derby and have been meaning to heat molding with hairdryer for ages. It sounds like I have similar toes to you and I wouldn't have thought to put the hairdryer inside the boot! Sounds so obvious now haha. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. :) I'm about to order Antik AR2 skates and I'm so scared that they're going to be too tight and I'm leaning towards going the half size up.. really not sure 😕
With any derby style skate you want them to fit snug at first but not cause any pain/discomfort. The more you use them, the more they break in and they loosen up! But if you are directly in between sizes you can always size up half a size and wear thicker socks! 😊
You can heat up both! I did both but concentrated on the inside to help mold the area I needed to. Depending on how much you need to heat mold and area you can do either high or low. I started with low heat to heat up the boot and then blasted the area I needed to mold with high heat for a few seconds. The boot is fiberglass so it can take a lot of heat without damage
This looks easy! The idea sounded intimidating so this was super helpful! Ty 👍
Thank you for posting! It’s so hard to find videos on heat molding Bont Parkstars 😭 🙌🏼
Of course! If you have any questions about the process let me know! 😊

Thank you so much for this video!! It makes me a lot more confident to do mine.
Thank you, this seems less of a liability than the method Bont showed of baking them in the oven 😮

what size shoes do u wear in us ? I'm having troubles figuring out what size to order.
I wear a 8.5 to 9 in US women's shoes. My feet measure at 250 mm so I am a 5.5 in bonts. I measured my feet standing up instead of sitting down.
Hi, is it okay if I didn't take the plate & wheels off when hair drying them?
Yes! Only heat molding with an oven requires you to take everything off
you heat from inside or outside? hi or low your hairdry?
