just not so long ago solving problems on NVMe SSD did not seem possible, but finally, the technology is catching up with some of the commonly used PCIe SSDs out there. In today's video, we will be working on an NVMe SSD with a common controller for their PCIe lineup. This device would just sit in a busy state if plugged in directly, and not allow any data communication whatsoever.

Good vídeo. I'm interested in seeing more ssd data recovery as they are getting more and more common. I've seen many cheap DRAM-less SSDs fail in less than 1 year of usage. I wonder how does pc3000 handle damaged NANDS
hi. i have a nvme drive suddenly stopped working. takes long time appear on device manager and shows readonly mode. can not formatted or able to delete any partition over the drive. its 1tb and i dont want to lose my drive. any help would be great. Thanks....

Not seeing it often does not speak for reliability, but lack of sales. Those that sell the most are seen the most

Hi Erkin so theres no Trim on those like 2.5 ssd drives is there? I though with Trim its impossible to recover or am i missing something. Nice recovery by the way.
Trim would affect anything that has been deleted. This SSD was stuck on boot in Busy. So loader + translator made the data happen
I found this video below by Erkin related to recovering data from a "TRIM:ed" SD card. In this case the camera had used ERASE commands to discard blocks on the card. Although SD cards do not support TRIM, they support discarding of data by the ERASE commands, which afaik works exactly the same as trim. Although involving very difficult process, it seems it may be possible to recover even deleted files after TRIM.

Can't run native on macOS, but since pre-2020 Apple machines are just PCs with added goodies in SMC, firmware, NVRAM, etc, you can run regular Windows on them just like any PC.

Hello! I was wondering if you guys did work on phone hardrive? Not sure if that's what they're called, but I broke my phone a long time ago. I just now thought about the pictures and data I had on it. The phone wont turn on or register on the computer so I'm assuming the actual hardrive or whatever phones use needs to be taken out of it. It's a Galaxy s7 phone. Was just wondering if you guys did that kind of job and a guess on price would be nice.

probably. over 80% of drives we get come opened these days. But there is an inspection fee that you pay upfront because chances are your drive will need full inspection and decontamination

Chipgenius can't fix it and have data accessible. You need a recovery lab to get this done. 0bytes can either mean NAND not found or NAND is problematic.

If the Silicon chip of a SDcard is broken into parts , data recovery is impossible. Not unlikely, not expensive, but impossible.even stated that even the FBI can't retrieve the data. Is this true?
And why?
If the Crystal is broken the data is gone. Why? Because there are hundreds of micro connections inside and they are damaged when it is fractured. Technology to repair those connections does not exist, and never will. The only invention that will bring back that data would be a time machine and not the one that Apple created :)
like the vast majority of people have those machines to do this with, face it for most of us this is a waste of time!
you need proper tools for this work. Like any other professional trade
SSD is so hard to recover data from that it is reliant 100% on the tool used. No microsoldering required. If PC3000 fails, then the customer is out of luck.
This is far from the truth. In 5 last cases I recovered 3 with soldering

I don't want to bore anyone but if someone can help me with my SSD issue if possible.
So windows normally shows it as half full (as though all my files are still there) but when i open it, its completely empty. Its a 240GB sata ssd with one 240gb partition.
When I connected that ssd into another PC same thing happens, half full but when opened empty.
Recovering files with EaseUS basically gave me 50GB of data that I don't need, and half don't work.
I think this happened when I switched that ssd for my backup HDD, using same sata port. After reconnecting it back the issue occurred.
