A little feedback, i think you should add the yolks and mix it with fold technique instead of whipping it again with the mixer, because bubbles from the meringue will disappear and the cake wont be as fluffy as it should be. Overall, it looks so nice and i love your video aesthetic !! Keep it up!

Good question! I haven’t tried it yet, but with most cakes you can change the temperature and cooking time to get a similar consistency. I would try the second cakes baking temp/cooking time with the flat plan! Just make sure to keep an eye on it and take it out when it’s lightly brown so it doesn’t overcook!

Hi I think it may be due to the temperature of your house/inside! I would suggest trying to cool the inside of your place or using a more solid frosting like regular buttercream!
I would probably use vegan alternatives? Such as vegan cream cheese and whipped cream! They are usually products made with soy, almond, oil, or coconut.

I was trying to search how to compare mls to g but after seeing you poured it from a bowl and it wasn't a tiny measuring cup I knew I was doing something wrong....I'm super confused and I really want to make this cake :((( ( I also knew I was doing something wrong when my egg yolks/sugar weren't peaking, they were just foam T-T )
Hi so sorry your cake didn’t turn out right. Honestly I haven’t used ml really before so I don’t know how to best translate those measurements. Since I’m from the U.S we usually use grams (using a scale to measure the ingredients by weight) or Tbsp to measure! :( I just used tablespoons to measure out as closest as I can since I don’t have a scale either haha.

Hmm I don’t know what would work without eggs because this recipe requires egg for flavor/consistency! I recommend just finding a vegan cake recipe instead and just making it mini sized! As long as you make it mini and cute it should feel the same :)
I recommend just using an eggless vanilla sponge cake recipe like : foodviva.com/dessert-recipes/eggless-vanilla-sponge-cake/ and just use a 6" round cake pan to bake for the same effect!
It’s from amazon! It’s a soup blender & hand mixer and there are two accessories for it. But, honestly I recommend a regular hand mixer for baking because it can take longer since this has only one handle!

Hi the amount protein is a bit different! Cake flour is 7-9%, and all purpose is 10-12%.

I used instant coffee since it’s concentrated. Whipping cream from HEB any grocery store whipping cream is fine. Caramel is just a grocery brand.

Technically yes but it will make the sponge cake taste more buttery in flavor!
