I agree. Tbh, if I heard this on the radio and didn't know the artist, I'd pass it by. But, I'm thankful they are still around. Like a lot of 80s tunes, I will be making list if newer releases
This does not sound like Simple Minds, or ANY band from the 80s, it sounds a new fresh hit like a band in their 20s. It's excellent and I didn't believe it was Simple minds.
I really appreciated this song. As it has happened to U2, Simple Minds have been doing a great job on crossing through different styles but never losing its essence.

It's definitely different from what I'm used to from this band and definitely contemporary sounding. But come on, it's Simple Minds, gatdammit! You gotta at least give them some love for staying in the game for 40 years and never resting on their laurels.

What an absolutely majestic set of songs "Walk Between Worlds" is.. I didn't t think bands made albums as good as this anymore. This album , is so well written and crafted. I doubt there will be better this year.

Yo también llevo muchos años escuchándoles más de 30 años cuando niña siempre se escuchaban mucho en los 40 principales en la radio cuando sacaron el disco Once upon a time aquí en España tuvieron mucho éxito en los 80 , con la canción Alive and kicking o Sanctify yourself, a partir de ahí me gustaron mucho y los seguí disco a disco hasta hoy en día, porque todavía siguen trabajando y haciendo buena música, y también me gusta sus primeros discos de muy principios de los 80. Su música da gusto escucharla.

some of my favorite groups of the 80s have created their best music well after the 80s and into the 21st century ... Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and Simple Minds are among those groups. keep on rockin guys.

This band never disappoint. Great track that will be fantastic live.
After a week of listening every day now it sounds great.....last week i wasn't keen but its a really modern and uptempo song by the minds and really it confounds a band whos average age is 58.....sounds like a fresh new band and jim and charlie deserve huge praise for creating a great contemporary record.....i dont know how they keep doing it...i grew up with the minds and im getting older with the minds...bravo
