    Failed the first TWO tests. The second time was wayyyy worse at a 56% and the first was 73%. I’m going to ask my professor for a retake if not, I’m going to work even harder and ACE my next two tests ! I’m NOT giving up!!!! I will come back with my results !

    This video is really valuable. I’m normally a straight A student so when I received my first C while being in the nursing program, I felt super hurt and did not know how to bounce back. In fact - today I failed my head-to-toe assessment because I exceeded the time limit and I have to re-do it. I definitely felt highly emotional and discouraged today. This video serves a reminder to me that I am human and not perfect. Thank you again ❤️

    Let this be a motivation for everyone who comes across this. Today is a mark of our failure. But we will come back here one day, leaving our mark as a success. 💯

    I got a 61 on my OB exam today. I am in tears. I don’t want to drop the class and want to graduate on time. I know it’s my fault though because I crammed too much in such a few days. 😢

    I passed my first quarter with all A’s and today in my second quarter I failed my first test. It was fluid and electrolyte test. I don’t know what went wrong because I studied the material. I’m in total panic now. Nursing is not easy.

    I failed my first fundamentals class by one question. Im super disapointed. In this class, passing is a 78% and i got a 76% on this test. It was my first time taking a whole test with NCLEX style questions (select all that apply, or questions with multiple correct answers but one that is the best). I am super sad and have to go for remediation with my professor. I studied hard so im very discouraged. I really hope I do better on the next one!

      Same here. This last exam took my grade down so far, I may have to withdrawal and retake next semester. We really don’t have good tutors at our “tutoring center”. It’s kind of a joke.

    • @graceyeager7838
      @graceyeager7838 3 года назад +3

      Same. It was a cardiac/renal exam. I’ve never made so low on a test before and it’s so discouraging. This is my entire life and I want nothing more to be a nurse, this dropped my average to failing. I always miss the easiest questions because I think “it’s not that answer, that’s way too easy”. I don’t know what to do at this point, it seems like the less I study the better I do since the questions seem harder and not “too easy”

    I''m in my second semester of an RN program and I failed the first exam, but not by much, changed my study and test taking methods and I did even worse on the second! Needless to say I broke down.
    I'm meeting with my instructor soon. I'm still salvageable because of my high quiz grades. I really think my whole approach needs to be revised. Your videos have been helping a lot!

    I just went through my Med-Surg HESI and I failed. I have a Mother-Baby HESI on Wednesday. I studied and prepared so hard. I went through all your videos to help with studying. I even fo practice questions. I don't know where I am going wrong. I feel discouraged and rethinking my decision to be a nurse. :-(

    Peds has totally shut me down. Doesn’t help that my teacher speaks a mile a second & does not give reviews at all. It is my lowest grade I’ve ever gotten in nursing school. I can’t deal. I’m taking OB and psych simultaneously... I don’t have time to shut down rn 😩

    Wooow, you're usually not allowed to retake a test!?! In northern europe you can fail I think three times after which you have to take the course again next year. But you will NOT be kicked out of school (unless you are deemed absolutely unsuitable, mentally unstable, drug use etc.). Interesting.

    • @RegisteredNurseRN
      @RegisteredNurseRN  8 лет назад +4

      +Hanna MO Thanks for sharing your experience in Northern Europe. Typically, in nursing school in the US a lecture exam is administered once and what you score you are stuck with it. Unless, the professor agrees to a repeat examination. You are only kicked out of nursing school if you fail the whole class (meaning you failed multiple exams). I always enjoy reading how things on conducted aboard. Thank again for sharing :)

    Hey! This was a great video. Today I took my first nursing exam and after I did it I felt great like I did amazing. Only really was iffy about a few of the questions. And I didn't fail but I got a 76. And I really wanted to start off the semester with a good foundation. So been pretty upset about it..but this video definitely helped out and gave me some good ideas. Thank you so much. Love from the 607. New sub

      +oluku igho Thank you so much, Oluku! I appreciate your comment very much! Patho is an intense class and I can feel your pain with it. I highly recommend the study guide by Maryann Hogan for Patho: www.amazon.com/Pearson-Reviews-Rationales-Pathophysiology-Nursing/dp/0133249778/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458264803&sr=8-1&keywords=pathophysiology+maryann+hogan
      You can find it on amazon.com and it helps break down the material you need to know for tests...it should help you for your midterm. I also suggest searching on RUclips for concepts you are covering class. Many people on here have uploaded really good information videos that helps breakdown the content. Hang in there...I promise not all nursing classes are hard like Patho :) I hope that helps!
