ANA Business Class had long been a dream for us, topping our travel bucket list. Being voted the 3rd best airline in the world by Skytrax, only fuelled our excitement further. Our journey began in June 2023, marking the first leg of an epic round-the-world adventure. With great anticipation, we embarked on our first experience with All Nippon Airways.
The journey began with a frustrating 2-hour delay from Singapore due to the aircraft's late arrival, leaving us questioning Japanese punctuality. The pre-flight experience at SATS Premier Lounge was disappointing, probably one of the worst lounges in Changi Airport. Onboard, we were dismayed to find no dinner serving despite the late night departure. The lack of proactive drink service and the subpar breakfast, even for the Japanese menu, added to our disappointment. Considering the high cost of business class, ANA's performance on this 6-7 hour flight fell short, and we hesitate to recommend them based on this experience alone.

ANA IFE on this route has one of the most boring list. Took this in September and the selection was pretty dated... I mean, the "latest" movies they had was Fantastic Beasts 3 and GotG 3.

You are right, it was actually a different selection for long haul routes.
