Loved this! I've been fortunate to travel SQ Business Class on the 350 (and the 380 and 777) - I absolutely love SQ - the service and food are perfect - and I had to laugh that you got the Lobster Thermidor for breakfast! I had it for lunch - it was absolutely delicious! Happy safe travels my friend -
Just finished SQ25/25 JFK-SIN / SIN/JFK SQ business has really gone downhill. They are cutting costs everywhere. Half the lavatories (on one side of the plane!!!) were closed. Only two meals for an 18 hour flight. No amenity kit. The list can go on. Staff were also relaxed and not attentive, almost like they had their B-Team on duty. That was a $9,000 ticket and definitely not worth it. Will not be flying SQ business again.
AT SQ....I thought a Lobter Thermidor is ONLY available for 1st Class Passenger by the cook book ONLY....now Lobster Thermidor is available for Business Class Passenger by the book cook as well at SQ???Confusion here
I flew on SQ but on economy class to Istanbul in December 2022. The quality of its services & meals were not, what it once was, the top notch airline, probably due to the cost cutting measures.
Happy New Year Everyone! Hope you like my experience in the new SilverKris lounge and onboard business class of Singapore Airlines A350. Stay healthy and safe travels everyone!
A repulsive departure time. One doesn't normally eat at 0250 hours! How was the patronage in J (business) and Y (economy)? From the little one could observe, it looked like very few in business class. This is typical of poor numbers in my nation (Australia) at present, and on international flights to/from there. Fares need to decrease internationally and COVID-19 regulations be scrapped (especially the costly and burdensome 'testing' requirements, which seem unnecessary given travellers have in many cases had a third booster shot). The food didn't look anything special. No doubt the company blames 'COVID' that worldwide has been used as an excuse for cost cutting. And the business class seats are no better than on a few other Asian carriers that often have cheaper fares. Didn't Singapore Airlines muck up the footwell that's small and inconveniently placed for most business class seats?
Yes!!! The footwell is terribly awkward unless you want to damage your ACL or if you're 5 feet tall. I actually did some research and it's a pretty common complaint. There is so much wasted space in those seats and having to sleep on a bent angle is terribly uncomfortable. There were a bunch of other cost cutting measures, here is one example - it was an 18 hour flight and there were only two meals. What is that?
Fantastic
Flying Singapore Airlines looks so awesome. I hope to fly them one day.
Your hands move like an elegant crab ❤️
In Singapore BC lounge the prawn dumplings are to die for
Thanks for that, it makes it easier to see things before flying :-)

A great report to start 2022, and an excellent experience with SQ. Happy New Year to you Windowseatguy!
So glad I found this review. This is the same airline/route/class that I'm planning on taking. Thank you @windowseatguy

Hallo, I am planning to go to Turkey this year ,did they give 3 times meals during the flight? Snacks and drinks?
@@IndoArabCouple My flight in December had 2 meals & mid flight snacks which you help yourself from the galley. The snacks & drinks are free flow.
Nice to see SQ offering more local food options onboard! :)
