I've been waiting to fly with Singapore Airlines since 1992.... It was worth the wait...2 A350 flights from Seattle to Bangkok next up in business class on both legs...😎😎😎😎😎😎
Amazing trip report of Singapore Airlines. Hopefully I could go back to Singapore on Air Canada from Ottawa to Vancouver to Singapore this summer of 2024
Thanks for another beautifully-presented trip report Alvin. Looks like a great SIA experience, though I agree the timing of the second meal service was questionable. I wish you a happy new year and safe travels in 2024!
I'm flying Singapore Business next year to Indonesia and have been searching a few vids and this is one of the best. Great vid and I love the vibe.... subscribed💥
Alvin delivering with yet another masterclass of a video, love the cinematics and the in-depth detail oriented videos as always..🔥💪🏻 Wish you a very happy new year aswell !!🌟
That is a very nice video of a place and airline I know well. You've got an amazingly calm delivery. Which is quite refreshing after seeing so many in-your-face type travel vids. I've always found it odd/annoying that many of the departure gates at Changi do not have toilets? What's with that? I've found SIA's business class seats, with the odd angle and footwell, to be more than a little annoying. I've also noted that the quality of their service on SIA has steadily degraded over the past twenty years or so. That said, it's a better option than UA to go non stop from the west coast IMO
Thanks so much! Yes I find it annoying too that they force you to wait in an area without toilets! what if you really needed to go all of a sudden? 😅 I haven’t flown SIA long enough to comment on the quality of their service over time, but I think they still easily beat the North American carriers.
I notice for the long haul flights they do serve the 2nd meal service about half way through the flight, for example Singapore to london around 13 hrs long they served the 2nd meal service with about 6 and a half hours to go. Luckily i brought some Onigiri from the 7/11 at the airport before the flight to keep me satisfied!
Watching you video just make me looking forward to my Sydney to Bangkok trip with a 3 day stopover at Singapore!! Gotta love Aeroplan sometimes as it stays undefeated with these kind of bookings😋😋
Top notch video👍🏻 Thank You for sharing. Hope one day I get to enjoy the same flying experience you had with SIA in business class to Seattle. It’s just a dream for now 😊😊
Excellent review of the airline/aircraft. I'm looking at traveling to Maldives next year, and the Singapore Air A350 is one of the options. BUT, based off of your video, I'm a little disappointed in the product for the price I would be paying. Glad I got to see this.
Great review. I had to laugh every time you mentioned the footwell and '...it could get uncomfortable on a long flight". A 13 hour flight seems to meet the definition of long in my book (my opinion of course). I am wondering if you think the seat works for someone that does not sleep in flat bed mode, but prefers a slight lounge instead. I am looking at RT flights from SEA, LAX, or SFO and given the price, I want to make sure it will be comfortable for sleep. Thanks!
Haha yeah, I actually started feeling it by the end of the flight for sure. I actually prefer lounging most of the time rather than fully lie flat, so that must be why it was not too bad for me. I’m also not that tall so that could have helped.
I am so booking my next flight on Singapore Airlines. Looks amazing. Just finished my trip on JAL, great service and food but seat looks very old and not really function.
Nice review! Did you need to clear US immigration and recheck in your luggage at Seattle airport even though you were on transit to YVR? Did you manage to interline your luggage through to YVR from Singapore?
Thanks! Yes, after disembarking in Seattle, you first pick up your luggage, then go through immigration, then you can drop your bag off again for transit to YVR. You cannot check it all the way thru, you have to pick it up and drop off again.
@@onemoreweektogo thanks. Just curious, how long did it take you to clear US immigration and retrieve and re-check in your luggage for your onward connection to YVR? Is 2 hrs transit sufficient?
It really depends on the timing of your flight. When I arrived on this flight, we were one of the first morning international arrivals so the immigration was not busy at all. But I’ve also flown thru there where I’ve had to wait about 20-30 mins.
Singapore Airlines should really consider doing their signature Satay service with the first inflight meal since this is the meal most passengers tend to participate in. Some passengers tend to sleep through the second meal service and miss it.
Yes that would be ideal actually, I usually find the first meal has the most "wow" factor and would have been good to include the satay at the beginning!
I got this ticket for 87,500 aeroplan as part of a multi-ticket itinerary: EVA Business TPE - SIN Singapore Business SIN - SEA Air Canada Jazz Economy SEA - YVR Will definitely try to add a seat map for future videos. Appreciate the feedback!
😂 Please, my son, tell me if there isn't anything wrong in the relation between the price and the business class!? Well, I'm afraid most of the frills are unnecessary. The price is too high and if you travel economy is an absurd inequality. Will there be a time when people will travel with decency without having to sell their houses!? Think about it.
Nice video, especially the beautiful clouds and all the intricate details that are not usually captured in other travel videos. Good job.
I’m flying this flight in July. It’s really good to have such a new review.

Awesome! Enjoy your flights!
I like how details ur reviews are; from arriving at the airport, checking in, security, lounges, food, etc, basically the full experience!
Thank you! Want to capture the entire experience!
SIA flights always in my wishlist. Hope one day I have the opportunity to enjoy its business flight!
Stocking up on Aeroplan points should help!
Amazing trip report of Singapore Airlines. Hopefully I could go back to Singapore on Air Canada from Ottawa to Vancouver to Singapore this summer of 2024

The visual and music sync of the sunrise sequence. Wow.
Great video. Loved the music. Good job showing menu.

thank you for the tip on bulkhead seats! i almost got stuck in the side-ways legroom seat...
Another awesome review Alvin, I really feel your channel will grow big time in 2024!
Thanks so much! Hopefully you're right about that!

Gotta have some hawker center food during your stopover!! enjoy it!
This is a great video and primed me for my own trip. I like the idea of the snack/cake option.
Hope you enjoy your trip!
0:56, that's the pool of Westin hotel
d love thm to get a dark rum in the lounge and in flight. SQ you cant serve only bacardi blanco!
Excellent video as always man! Happy new year 😊
Thanks Victor! Happy new year!
Nice video! My favourite airline is Singapore airlines
thank you!
An excellent and very informative review. Thank you very much.
Thank you for watching!
I really wasn't that hungry after the first meal. Alvin proceeds to devour 10 dishes in 5 hours 😂😂
HAHAH. I got called out 🤣 I did it for the video, to show everyone more dishes 😉
@onemoreweektogo 🤣🤣 ye ye. In fairness they looked too delish not to eat anyway. Great video

why Singapore airline canceled fly to Vancouver ?

Landing on point
What camera are you using to film this video?
Sony a7r4
Great video. Did you not sleep at all? I would have been so tired 🥱
I did for about 2 hours!
Wow. I always pick 16a in Singapore A350s also. 😊
Great minds think alike! 😁

If your flight isn’t delayed, and you get your bags timely with not too much queuing, I’d say it’s sufficient. Nexus helps.

I used my sony a7riv with a 16-35 lens, and also my iphone 12 pro max for some clips
awesome review!!
Thanks Malcolm!
I enjoyed the trip report. I will be going JFK in Jan 2025 on A350-900. A direct flight about 18hrs. Hope to get a bulkhead seat as you suggested.
Wow! Enjoy that flight! Hopefully you get the bulkhead, it’ll be more comfortable for sure!

Agree that the seat is not designed for a comfortable sleep. Would recommend that the CEO try the seat
Your videos are always amazing. I really hope your channel continues to grow and reflect the content quality you create.
Always this magnificent quality 4K like at 25:45 🔥🔥🔥 amazing report
oh this is a different configuration to what im going on.. same plane though.. weird how they change it
I wouldn’t use touch screen as I would have to bend forward every time when using the screen. Not so practical.
nice 🙃
A couple things, how much did your ticket cost? Also, to make these videos successful, I think, similar to Nonstop Dan a seat map would be helpful.
I got this ticket for 87,500 aeroplan as part of a multi-ticket itinerary:
EVA Business TPE - SIN
Singapore Business SIN - SEA
Air Canada Jazz Economy SEA - YVR
Will definitely try to add a seat map for future videos. Appreciate the feedback!
