hi, There are a few support skills you might be missing, first of all, the higher you have the "Gallente Frigate" skill the better. Here is a list of other skills you can push up a bit, I would suggest at least lvl 3: "Gunnery", "Rapid Firing", "Surgical Strike" and "Small Blaster Specialization". I also suggest other support skill that are not focused on DPS Like "Motion Prediction", "Sharpshooter", "Controlled Bursts" and "Trajectory Analysis". All those skills should get you to about 200 dps with more range and more cap. I hope this answered the question but if you have more questions please let me know 🙂

If you put a module in your free high slot, even if offlined, it'll soak up some of the heat damage. An offlined neut is very useful for this.
I checked this and an empty slot and an offline module actually have the same heat absorbation. 🔥
