i love the Punisher because of the design but the Tristan is my 2nd fav. when it comes to style. the Atron also looks very cool.

If you use beam lasers (or any long range turrets) for stuff like this you really should bring the T2 short range ammo (Gleam in this case), not just long range. T2 short range ammo for long range guns gives a tracking BONUS while adding more dps, so it's really good vs upclose stuff.
I actually found out about that like 2 days after I finished the video, 😂 next time I fly a beam ship, I will defenetly remember, thanks.
Tormentor is a fun ship. I got afew hulls I need to fit up.

@@FrigatesOnFire don’t see many of them in my neck of the woods, see rifters and tons of nvy frigates.. might venture to other WZ see what I find… or place an alt over there…. Now that’s an idea
@@auriman5146 they work quite well against most rifters and also have a chance against the navy frigs but an alt in the other warzone is defenetly a good idea imo 🙂
Hi Tian, have you tried dual web with 400mm plate armor. 3 imperial beam for weapon. It can have 7k HP.

very nice :) my tormy is also beams but i have web +scram, which would of helped in catalyst fight but my fit cannot kill arty firetails :)
Web scram does have some advantages but it really depends on the situation, I dont wanna fight an atron with single web for example... but still against MWD ships scram is way better

I’ve been playing with a punisher for weeks now. Many different fits. Been getting owned by almost everything. This video gives me hope
The punisher does have some problems because of the missing range control but if you let people slide on you, you should be able to win quite a lot of fights. 🙂 If you want/need advise you can hit me up here or send me a mail to Tian Zaharin ingame.
@@FrigatesOnFire that’s my big issue they get out of range before I can lock them down. Plus there’s an arty rifter killed me afew time I won’t be satisfied till I’ve bested him atleast once.
@@auriman5146 To be honest against an arty rifter the punisher wil lose every time. There is just no way that you can hold him down with a ship with only 2 midslots. If your biggest issue is that they get out of range I can suggest a ship like the atron or condor because they are the fastest locking ships in the game. 🙂
@@FrigatesOnFire thanks I’ll try one of them. I need to expand my hanger anyway. I mainly have brawling and afew SK fits. Trying to stay t1 for learning atm.
@@auriman5146 T1 for learning is a great plan, they are cheap and easy to replace wich is also why I like to fly them. 😄 Let me know if you need fits or want to do some pvp training stuff.
What would you suggest as the most brain dead fit that requires little to no manual pilot and micro but would do alright as a complete FW and EvE beginner?
Something like a merlin or atron is pretty much straight forward scram web and shoot with not to many skillpoints needed aswell so with the 1mio free SP you can already fly it quite nicely. Let me know if you want more information or if your looking for a corp. 😉
Not sure whats going on, you are slowly approaching that merlin and incursus that have BLASTERS and you are not geting any damage? When I am anywhere close to them like that, I get almost insta killed. Also, I thought I should keep range when enemies are runing blasters since they have great tracking? Great vids btw, keep em comming :D
Yes I am slowly approaching them so my neut can have full effect. In both fights they use very cap reliant fits so I know I can tank them until they are neuted out. It was defenetly a gamble but the neut saved me in both cases. The second thing is, yes blasters do have good tracking but not near as good as many people think, so if I orbit 500 with the very speedy slasher they do miss quite a lot of shots. I hope this could explain the situation 🙂
@@FrigatesOnFire Thanks for reply. Was mostly wondering about those initial 3-4 seconds of fight where you are approaching in a straight line and seems like you dont get any hits (against merlin and incursus). When you stabilize in orbit i can understand with what you say about tracking. But those first few secs is where i get blown up :D Were these pilots maybe slow with reaction or its something else?

Love the fights. A thought that comes from watching a lot of eve pvp is the game needs a way to get cinematic shots, like an in-game record feature that can let you re-record it or the like.
Such a tool would be really great and much apreciated but until it exists you can use corpmates 😂

The punisher really is insane. With this much dps you dont even need rangecontrol because before they can pull range they are dead. 😂

The problem is it's so hard to find good fights in a Punisher - everyone (rightfully) assumes you are bait for a larger gang.

Great video. Shows not only kills but situations where you need to warp off (so some losses which a lot of pvp videos don't show). Have you tried the slasher with hull tank instead of shields and using a Tracking Disruptors? Even more under ppls guns when they can't track :D Also shows how engagable the Slasher is which gets you more fights! Solo is not dead it seams! Makes we want to go out and fly a Slasher :)
I personally do not like the hull tanked TD slasher because it is very weak on cap but it is a viable fit. Solo is kinda dead and it is hard to keep it up so if you fly arround in a frigate let me know so we can have a 1v1 😉

I use shortcuts to activate my modules (F1,F2,F3,F4)
The sheild fit merline is generally better. I can get 9k ehp and similar dps with a web.
