bro, I brought a clean sepang blue 2016 s3 with 33K miles for about 33k. i got 52k miles on it now and definitley wanna start modding it. you videos have helped me appreciate my s3 even more.

Yes Sir, Ive had my 2018 S3 as my daily for about 1.5 years, slowly modding it and I am 100% happy with mine. I have some simple mods , bolt ons, 034 dogbone inserts, Stage 1 034 ECU/TCU, 034 dynamic lowering springs , eventually will go stage 2 and stop there. I want my car to last 250K + miles, Im gonna drive it as long as I can. Really , even with a proper stage 1 you will be keeping up with a lot of the pretty fast sports cars ,I surprise people all the time. Not to knock the A3 2.0T, but the S3's 2.0T has a lot of upgraded parts not just a couple, they are readily found on the forums. Looking forward to more videos, keep it up Bro

I've got a 2016 Sepang S3, absolutely enjoy this car as a daily. I don't have the digital dash but that doesn't bother me too much, I can shut off all screens and it feels old school with modern performance. I don't understand your dig on the dash, I've done a Costco run with my wife and kid and was able to fit all the stuff we needed with no issues. Overall it's as close to perfect of a car as I think is possible, oh, and the sport seats are a must, best seats ever in a car.

No sir you can safely drive the car without a tune with no issue. Highly recommend going for a tune asap though!
I wanted a golf r luckily i couldn’t find one in the low 30’s without high miles. Found a 2015 s3 prestige bigger and nicer. More practical with two kids

I’ve been debating between bmw 340i and an S3
It really depends on your end goal. Mod for mod on stock turbo etc the 340i will be faster which I think is obvious. Tough to compare as it’s a 4 cyl compared to a 6 cyl. You need to know your goal on each car and see which one makes more sense for you
I was under the impression the S3 was faster than R due to wheel base making a big difference
What is the 0-60 on something modded this much?
Best 0-60 I did via draggy was 3.39 last time I went to the drag strip with some spinning. With a better launch and better tires I’m sure I can do a 3.1-3.2!
@@DArias oh wow! I’m starting my a3 quattro build on my 2015 that I’ve had for 8 year. Had it stock until about a month ago. Pretty much prepped for eqt’s stage 2 so far. It’s already impressive I can’t imagine what a 3.6 or 3.1 is going to feel like. Just have to decide weather bigger turbo is the way to go. It’s got 80K miles so far and we’ll maintained. I’m scared of going XL turbo and sending a piston into orbit lol.
@@OrderHereticusif you get tuned by eqt you will be fine. These engines are stout. If you’re worried tell them to keep torque low and you’ll still make 400+ wheel if you have the power come in later!
Is insurance pricy on the S3?
For me it’s not but I’m also 29 and clean driving record so it’s all circumstantial haha

You’re right but the rs3 costs almost double of any s3 and possibly triple than an A3. Yes obviously the rs3 is fast especially tuned but tbh a well setup hybrid 4 cyl runs very similar times to a stage 2 rs3. Then to go faster you’re spending a ton of money which is worth it for sure. One day I’ll have a ttrs I hope and trust me it’s worth it but again 2 completely different levels of cars

A3 is underrated tbh. Makes great power with same mods and is such a cheap car that’s still comfy and has luxury!
