Ugh you're literally the only true 4b 4c hair RUclipsr that I can realistically look at as hair goals 😩. I would've been halfway at your hair level but I had a slilk press gone wrong & I had to start over in August after almost 2 years. But I live through you 😩😂. Your hair and this color is EVERYTHING.
Damn that's sad.. thats why I just stick to wigs when I have the urge to dye or flat iron my hair.. I had damage a few years back, and I was devastated. My hair was in the middle of my back...
@@NiaMSnow OMG see no. This was my 3rd big chop. And I'm definitely not doing another one. I wear wigs too but I just wanted to see my progress. This time around I'm going to my natural hair stylist. The girl I went to was a girl I didn't know, but did a friends hair so she recommended her, after my real stylist cancelled 😩but this time idc how long I have to wait. I'll never put my hair in someone's hands I don't know again 😭😭
From my knowledge and my experience with this product, the more you put on, the more it's likely to flake, transfer, and leave clumps in your hair. I'd advise applying a little at a time to avoid it because it really helps. The more you use it, you'll kind of just know what amount works to your preference. I have the purple one and all the times that I've used it, I've never gotten transfer or flaking. The only time I got transfer was when my hair was still wet after applying. Other than that, nothing. Just wanted to give my input since I've used this product more than once.
I just used the grey one yesterday and I most definitely think I used too much cause every I touch my hair or brush it......its hella grey everywhere and its so annoying lol. Plus I applied it when my hair was 80% dry which was probably another fuck up lol
I love that color on you, the process turned out great!! 😍😍 As a Beauty Professional, To prevent the build up and fall out. I would put the wax straight on the hair right after you shampoo and condition your hair using a super moisturizing detangling Shampoo and Conditioner. I wouldn't apply a creme based leave in product on the hair shaft before applying the waxe base product. If you prefer a leave in conditioner for your hair type. Use a nickel to quarter size for the whole head, not per section. You could try using a liquid spray leave in conditioner next time😊 Using a creme based leave in product, could cause an interruption in the chemistry of the product, which could cause a separation of the molecules of that particular color wax product. Let me know what you think? Xo
This looked really good. I was shocked how it looks of type 4 hair. Alot of other reviews I have seen have been on type 3 hair. I think I will give this a try!
Im 4a/b/c and I love it so far. Ive had it since Christmas and have tried gold, gray/silver, and orange. They smell like shaving cream or a mans type of scent to me. I like that its beeswax and I think thats why it clumps my hair and gives it definition. I mix the gold and orange sometimes and it makes a cute honey blonde look. I havent had any fall out, but I use small amounts on slightly wet hair. Im wearing it now on my faux locs! 2 were from the actual company, and 1 was from Amazon. All work the same. So many options now without chemical regret lol
Also it washes out easy and it does rub off over time, which I think makes it set in and look even more natural. But it doesnt stain, or hasnt stained my stuff anyway. No drying or anything.
@@malory1126 but I also feel like its a moist product. So it might just make your hair curl. It says to use on damp hair, but I use it on dry hair sometimes and it makes my hair curl.

The best way to put it in is to apply and rub on hands the rake it thru for it to look realistic. Honestly I have all the colors and have used the blue and silver so far and I’ve fooled ppl bc my hair down to my roots legit look bleached and then colored with semi permanent hair color. Looks really good! I guess there is a learning curve with how much to use. I've tried Pop Color (now they're called Gemini Naturals) color gel. It was cool and it smelled pleasant and lightly floral. It was created by Chronic Curls (RUclips and IG). I see now they've added a few other items to the shop. My hair is super short, (4b/c) so I just raked it through my hair after my leave in and had pretty good definition. I didn't experienced any fallout but that could be because my hair is short and didn't move much.
