I tried both colors as well as blue, my results were amazing each time. I used a leave in because that’s just only right! Then I applied Olive oil gel and then the color. I kept it in each time for a week then switched to something different and experienced no flaking or color fades. I’m new to this color thingy but I love it!
Lol, listening your man talking about the colour was funny. We do not get to hear him but I guess he liked it! I am amazed how this painting process turned out! Try another colour like green --- lime or leaf. Your is beautiful and I am sure you will turning heads lol. also you can do the painting on wash and go. I am glad you have just mentioned the denial some of our sis come up with.... You have just said it as it if#no offense#no shade. Love it. It change period!

My texture really didn’t change because I didn’t bleach my hair when I got it colored. And my sister is a licensed colorist and she put my color in. I never dye my own hair. But this is definitely a good alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to permanently dye their hair.

Right!! I want the copper color but Ambrosia is the only one whose hair came out copper instead of red. I wonder if I mix the orange and red together if it will give me that copper color...decisions,decisions.
I think that's more low porosity problems than type 4. Low porosity folks can't retain moisture very well, which I noticed at how you had water droplets in your hair. In other hair videos, damp hair worked just fine, regardless or curl pattern.

TaragayeNicole How I take care of mine when I had mine in is just retwist at night. I wore a twist Out so I just retwist at night and added layers of scarves and bonnet not to color my satin pillow cases. 😂😂😂
Thank you so much!!!!! The color can last over a week but I wouldn't keep it in for more than that just because your hair needs that moisture and you can't really moisturize it because the color goes away with moisture. The color doesn't transfer too much on satin just a bit of color dust that can be easily removed by dusting it off with a dry cloth (don't wet and rub) I just apply my bonnet at night and don't put anything else in it.

Girl...I couldn't believe you were doing your hair with that beautiful robe on. But that color turned out cuuuute!!! I have my hair colored red right now, but it's with l'oreal excellence hi tones highlights specifically for dark hair. It does not require bleach and has no ammonia to damage hair. I promise I am not in denial🤚🤚🤚. I got it in 2017 and believe me I looked for damage or changes to my hair, because I wasn't going to use it again if there were. I let it grow out and wore my natural color dark brown and went back to my hair dresser in May of last year to have her put it back in. Still no problems, everything I use on my hair is to keep it moisturized from wash to styling. I learned while relaxed that moisture is the key to prevent damage on colored hair and knew it would be even more so as a naturalista. In my thumbnail my hair is straight after getting the color, trim, and flat ironed, but reverted back w/o any damage to my hair. It can be done, maybe not on everyone's hair.😉😘
trishalachell I used that to when I wanted to add blonde to my hair. It does a really good job. My curls stayed intact and like you I was definitely searching for damage. I would just say that I had double up on moisture bc I went blonde but beside that my hair was fine.

I came out pretty. I only do WNG in the summer. I've tried the gold..wrong color choice for me..it look fake blonde. I will try red next then purple. I did use melanin elongation shea under my WNG (from Naptural85).

Thanks I like the red a lot! Ah I can’t deal with crunchy hair though because you can’t use oils or any moisturizers with the product and I like my hair to feel soft it’s getting washed tonight!
Now I'm thinking to try it, since this one has a better outcome. I'm gonna make my decision for sure when you do a follow-up video maybe with a wash...if you wanna, but please do a follow-up.
So I’m still getting the flaking now that it’s totally dry. Yesterday was perfect no flaking at all. I won’t be doing another video on it because its the exact results as the previous time I used it. Flaking off. :/

I used a styler and gel and my hair didn't flake at all. I would try a twistout especially for your texture. It would look so good.
