It seems like the halfback in this situation almost acts like an anchor. Which is interesting because I’ve been pairing IFB and anchors in my tactics and it’s been working great
Would other defensive midfield roles operate similarly to the HB in this setup? Like if you had a DM on defend or an Anchor instead of a HB, would they do the same thing?

In this setup yes 👍 already 3atb thanks to the ifbs so you can use a different role.
I loved your stingalotti tactic and this new one looks great for the teams that can implement it. Will give it a go!
There's a blast from the past. Might give it a go myself
Do you think HB is the best role for this natural DM position? I was thinking whether DLP would do a similar/better job compared to HB
Always worth a try, he'll get more of the ball as a DLP, depends if you want that
Excellent insight.
Do u have a vid about this tactic as i would like to use it in my chelsea save?
Nice video as always! How would you line up a 3 at the back with this?
Not sure yet, obv wouldn't use ifbs. Have to take a look
Interesting choice of iwb def instead of IFB to tuck in besides the DC
We used the IFB
