Can I just say. I genuinely appreciate the feedback and those suggesting they would do stuff differently without having to be negative. That’s what I like my videos to be about - these are my ideas and nothing here is actually “THE VERY BEST”. We have our different ways and I enjoy reading other approaches to tactics and training. It is completely okay to disagree. We can all be respectful when doing so.
Comment section isn’t always easy to read as a creator but I appreciate you all who have commented 💚
Fuck the noise dude just keep doing you
Brilliantly explained and in-depth. Been on at you over on Twitch for this vid, Arron! Appreciate you brother!
Been waiting for you to do this mate. Training schedules is the one thing in FM I just leave to staff/never bother with. Thanks!
Very good info on how to set up training schedules. I've been doing my own training since probably FM18 so I'm very well versed in how it works. I will use some of your schedules but generally like setting up my own and rotating through all the schedules each month or so. I will say I've never really considered the personalities of the coaches. I mainly look at them for the head of youth development. so thanks for that.
Loved your training schedules for 23 so really glad to see you come out with them for 24 as well. Great job!!
Been waititng for theeseee 🤩 Love the work RDF!
Very underrated channel.Should have at least 100k subs.Keep up the good work.Btw, best FM tactics explanation on RUclips by far!
So.good to see you back on.
Videos are few and far apart these days, but are always my favourite to watch
My very own "personal assistant manager". Thank you for putting in the efforts to not only work out the best training schedules, but also the mammoth effort you go into when presenting your findings and methods. Top class and I thank you!
Been waiting for this, nice one
Amazing work! new subscriber gained, keep it up!
M8 your training schedules and videos really help me understand how to manage my team thanks for your work m8
Absolute class video Rdf!!!
I watched Cesc Fabregas on "The Coaches, voice" Building up to attack. Was wondering if we could get your take on the tactic. 😊
Respect the grind bro
I've used your training schedules in FM23, and I'm gonna continue using it now for FM24.
You are just very useful to me
Generally I get ideas for my tactics from you now i want to the same for training and hope some progress again
Thx
Love your training routines RDF. You hit it out if the park again.
I’ve been playing FM since 2005 and I still learn so much from you! Love the vids man 🫡
Love this… will get them straight into the game when I get a change. Only thing I would say, is that BustTheNet recommends role training for youngsters as a way to improve mentals (which I’ve been following quite religiously… eg BWM(S) for a young MC, ramdeuter for a winger).
Which schedules do you prefer? BTN or RDF?
Yet more quality content
Cheers
great content bro loved it
Been waiting for this video before starting my long term FM 24 save!
Regarding coach’s, I like to get a pretty good coaches but with a lower tier badge because when they get new badges they get better in stats , so from National A to Pro Continental they get super good, in about 2-3 seasons, this work for long careers
nice video mate ! thanks
Thank you, I ll try to apply your advices.
The King of training schedules is back! Elite stuff man, keep it up!
Love your work bruv
Great :) thank you for sharing your work :D
One question, after import your training in schedules, we must go to Calendar, and manualy insert your training every week? Manualy? Thank you :)
Anyone else conceding a fucking ridiculous amount of goals from throw-ins?
Curious, what level are you playing at? I'm not seeing it in the Prem with Arsenal too much. Seeing a lot of direct/indirect free kick goals because i have JWP but maybe in a lower league a great throw-in taker will have a similar result.
Not really no
No? I don’t think I’ve conceded a single one in 5 seasons
Now I want to know what you’re doing??
Throw ins are insane this yr. Random shit just be happening
Yes. i started to emphasize that in match preparation (and attack corners) and now we score from them instead. Much worse in 3 atb formations since i think it messes with assignments.
Welcome back RDF! Please we need a positional play Tactic and a set-piece tactic.
I was waiting for this one
FINALY THANK YOU Bro!! I was hungry for new video!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!Instant like!! (KIllerstroke)
I've seen a lot of people say the same thing about not setting a specific role focus early on, but still don't understand why.
Can anyone explain the reasons for it? To me it makes more sense to focus on a specific role so their CA growth isn't waste on stars that aren't important to how you want to use them.
Elite work again RDF, the level of detail is unreal. One question though, what schedule do you recommend we use during pre seasons?
Second this - great job!
Look up > FM23 Training Analysis 10 - IT'S HERE! Evidence Based Training Schedule v23 < here on RUclips, great video showcasing what gives best growth in terms of your training schedule backed up with data from the RUclips creator Evidence Based Football Manager.
It is the only training schedule you will ever need.
If you see all of the trainings in the folder there's one called "No Match (Development Week)". He doesn't mention it in the video, but i think we can agree that's the one you're looking for.
@@migueletegv0546 That would be a big mistake. The pres eason should be really punishing physically, no way you do the same in a mid season week off. The development week is just focussed on stat raising over anything match related and more intensive due to lack of game days, its no good as a pre season because it would leave your team short on fitness for the end of season.
Going to study your video reaaallly good. Playing with Leeds and pre season went great. A day before the 1st game if the season 2 keepers got injured and 3 of my strikers. 😳
What a great and detailed video my man!! Mr Zimsmula mentioned you and he is right you are a genius!! I will keep checking your content great job man greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Great to see you filter your search looking for certain personalities, I do exactly the same as I’m doing a youth only save and I’m trying to perfect every area I possibly can. Only thing I would say is remove balanced as that can be negative as well as positive.
Brooo…. Where you been? We need more tactics. You’re my go to now 👌🏻😂
Great stuff man. What do you do about the reserves and youth teams?
Amazing video. Btw should make a video for FM touch. I think some of us may be playing on the iPad
Can we see a defence first football tactic from you if it can be a recreation of a manager uses this kind of mentality it will be great. Thanks for nice contents keep going.
Hey mate, sorry for the stupid question. But if our teams play on wednesdays kai sundays, are the schedules for tuesday and saturday, are they ok? I mean for the weeks with 2 matches. thanks for your time. Excellent video! :)
Generally all training schedules works ok as long as they are balanced and doesn't over work your players. One thing I'd recommend different from this video is to not do recovery sessions in two game weeks. Do rest instead. If it's one week until the next game do a recovery session after a match. Rest will reduce fatigue faster, but match sharpness will decline faster. Recovery session will reduce fatigue slower, but match sharpness will decline slower.
Saw you've signed Damián Pizarro. If he somehow learns how to properly finish, he'll be a star
THE GOAT SCHEDULES ARE BACK!
Great video as always! Quick question when it comes to additional training focuses, how often do you rotate a training focus to something else in a season? And do you set it for 3 months? 4? Would be a great help! Thankyou
Me personally, I always check the progress at the end of the season. But checking after 6 months could also be pretty useful. I feel like 3-4 months isn't long enough to see considerable progress :)
My hero is back
Bro just changed my FM experience completely. I was clueless with training, as this video proved 😂😂😂
good shit again beautyfull
I have tested a lot of training schedules. By far the best.
love it!
"Hearing people getting injuries" I had to take off double intensity when at full condition due to the sheer fact that I was getting 7 injuries at a time, was insane.
i have one that had good results generaly. but l always trust u. i will give it a go....at my online save..i hope i wont regreat it XD cheers
Nice Video! One question: There are no physical training sessions in the schedules. Isn't this dangerous for the physical attributes?
You mention in the video during the individual training section that pkayers under 24 only get additional focus and not position/role training, and the older players just position/role training. What do you do for players between the ages of 24 and say 30? Do you give them position/role training and an additional focus? Great video though mate really informative. Quality content.
One question (or two)...I always thought that a position on a player is better for their training....normally the position based on the tacttic (even for the U19s)....2nd No match tactics prep? before a game...but team bonding which reduces fitness...comment?..... also, i have introduced some of your scheduled into mine...i prefer my 2 games a week...but i like the saturday ones with possession/attack etc..great videos..thanks
What is the theme you are using? Looks good, do you have any video for must have mods add-ons?
Hello, during the summer (Luly, August) what schedule do you use ?
How often to you change the individual focus on the players?
For example you keep a certain focus on a player for the whole year or you prefer to change it every 3 to 6 months let’s say?
Start of the pre season with man united and 8 players are unhappy with training . They want more strength training . I would really appreciate it if you could provide some updated training schedules.
When I import the schedules all the training marked for tuesday matches are actually made for wednesday matches, small mistake I think.
The Goat!
Playing in Spain, sometime you got matches friday, monday, saturday or sunday
What I dont understand, arent physical attributes completely missing in the two general training sessions?
by far the best training breakdown out there, yet again. RDF the goat
Where have you been, man, and where you putting RUclips videos up???
Been waiting for this, even GK are injured now, something that never happened in FM 23
Coaches can improve over time. If you want to play long game, you'll find many elite coaches will retire. You can search out new talent, but another, more fun approach, especially for top tier teams is to train some young coaches. I look for those with strong mental skills (Mot, Det, Dis) who have a continental C license or a B. They work with elite coaches and superb+ facilities. I send them on coaching courses to increase their badge level to Pro and watch their tech stats improve. Because they WERE journeyman standard, they are cheap salaries, and can be sacked if they don't make the grade. It's like wonderkids with coaching and can be a lot of fun. I've even bought 37 year old players who rot in the reserves while I train them as coaches. Iron willed or driven are good personalities to foster into coaching, as well as the obvious model citizens, perfectionist etc. Also nice when one of your homegrown coaches leaves and becomes a successful manager.
RDF Sent me here from Twitch
Guys cmon, you don't need any points under the coaching attributes section with an exception of Tactical for your players to get familiar with the set tactics sooner and you can also assign tactics coaching in the training section to yourself, for others you just find coaches that are good in that one specific area for ex Attacking plus people management and level of discipline so you can maximise their effectiveness. Assign all your points to mental attributes and Tactical, assign any points that remain to whatever you want so you have all attributes with an exception of one either 20 or 1. Do what you do best and delegate the rest.
Hey i never thought i actually will manage my own team's training schedule, instead of letting my assman do all the job. good schedule, understandable. But what if theres matches on wednesday or thursday? Will the schedule automatically set it self to suit the match day?
Depending on a players age Physical always grows first then Mental then technical attributes
USING THESE , also do a rangers save / rebuild staff needs rework but done correct can win cl in 1-2 seasons
@RDF Tactics do you have something for FM20? training guides/killers etc :D
I'm in Spain and my 2 match week is Wednesday & Sunday.. How do I change your schedule to match that? As yours currently Tuesday & Sunday. Don't want to click about and switch things as scared I mess it up haha
Figured anything out im facing the same problem
I've been using this for my current season which is nearly finished and players are complaining there isn't enough quickness in the schedule, what's the best way to fix this? And is there a specific tactic for the schedule to work for?
I’ve been waiting for this since fm 24 come out. Although I’m managing bradford currently in league one so not sure how affective it will be but I’ll give it a try.
How’s it going? Thinking of trying this out with a league 2 side, so your experience with it will be really helpful in working out whether it will be useful or not.
@@adam_19855a bit mixed I’d say. Some of the physical stats have gone up a lot. Seeing numbers like 2,3 and 4 but not much mentally or technically in first season using it. We don’t have the best training facilities so that’s gonna make difference. I’ve got a Leicester save with them in the prem so be interesting to see how it works with them.
@@matt_gtuk1807thanks mate
I'm in Spain and my 2 match week is Wednesday & Sunday.. How do I change your schedule to match that?
I have the best physio and I let them set the training intensity and most of my players feel unhappy because of the low intensity training. I'm still wondering what exactly the function of the phsyio team in this game
do you change just the schedule, or in the calender also?
Great Video.
Did you use these schedules also for your Youth Team ?
I quickly downloaded the file, and he does include 3 youth training in there. I haven't tested them as I'm happy with the 5 separate training schedules I have for my u18 and u21 teams, but I would always recommend using the youth ones someone creates for the u18 and u21 squads rather than 1st team ones. With u18's players, you really want to focus just on training to get the max amount of attributes increasing, so you won't have irrelevant training like match review after a game which you'd have for the 1st team. In this case, it appears after the youth teams have played a game, rather than doing recovery and match review like the 1st team does, he's got them doing recovery then attacking and chance creation training. So they when they aren't playing, they are training 3 times a day.
Thx for you Response, makes Sense to me. Do you think it is useful to have an different Youth Schedule for Pre Season ?
@@rakschari176 I'd say so, it's what I do. I have them doing the same intense schedule for the 1st two weeks of pre-season with a large focus on physical training. However from week 3, my 1st team plays friendlies on a wednesday and saturday, and my youth teams only play on a saturday. So my first team's training whilst having a general physical training, then starts to concentrate more on general outfield, attacking and overall training. Whereas I have my youth team doing more physical training like endurance and quickness throughout the rest of their pre-season to work on their physical attributes but also the mental ones like work rate. They also do general training like overall, attacking, outfield.
@@rakschari176 I don't have RDF's training downloaded anymore (As I said, I'm happy with my existing schedules) but I believe I used his ones on fm23 and they did well so if he doesn't have a separate pre-season for the youth, you should be able to get away with using one that's intended for the 1st team. Just remember to schedule in games on the days the schedule has a match day to make the most of it.
Hey i love your videos but I´m having problems importing your tactics because when I click to import them it just says "couldnt import" what do I do against that?
i would leave out the coaching qualification set to pro licenese a coach with average 13 tributes and national license for example you can send out and improve his attributes. a coach with 13 average and pro license you cant.
I’ve read that at Liverpool under klopp the day after a match they have the hardest sessions of the week for the lads who did not play in the match, do you think you could replicate this resting the played 11 and hard training the rest of the squad so that the players who missed the actual match could have a practice match?
in the "rest" section of the game if you set the 3 lowest shape settings to "no gym training" and the last 2 (good and perfect shape) to double strength you would actually emulate that. But you would have to change it every now and then
@garymousley2080 I think your point is absolutely right, and it's the basis of my own approach to setting up the squad's whole training calendar.
You have to think about developing ALL the players in the squad, whether they're playing (or have played) or not, and whatever roles or additional focuses they're instructed to work on.
So, I have a full-on, maxed-out training calendar, every week, using as many "General/Overall" sessions as possible. This means that everyone is able, in principle, to work really hard, everyday, and it also means that each and every session allows every player to have some focus on whatever the specific attributes are that they need to train (for both their role or their additional-focus training). I then have a squad view set up that allows me to view the squad's training status and to "sort" it by the players' injury risk. I use this to review that risk level, as I go through the week, and specifically rest all the players who look like their overall injury risk level (match plus training) is too high. I'll then rest those specific players just for a day or two until their risk level is reduced and then they're back into full-on training.
N.B. Pro-tip: It won't actually let you use General/Overall for more than 7 sessions each week, so all other sessions are set to "General/Outfield" ones, balanced with a few "General/Goalkeeping" sessions to make sure goalies get as much attention as outfield players; plus obviously you want to include any Set-piece and Match Prep sessions that you feel you need to cover-off being ready for Matches.
The advantages of this approach are:
1) Everyone's working as hard as they can, all the time.
2) Everyone's specific Role-attributes and Focus-area attributes all get balanced attention, so the whole squad develops, across the board
3) You don't have to bother messing around with different schedules, so it's a simple-to-use approach once you're into the routine of doing it
4) You keep an eye on injury-risk levels all the time, and actively manage them, so you end up with reliable, much-lower-than-average injury stats, across the whole season
5) Players that are not yet ready for full first-team roles, and so are not playing much, train harder all the time and develop more, rather than sitting about waiting for the first-teamers to catch their breath.
Etc.
I've been using this type of approach for quite a few years now, across different versions of FM, and it's always worked really well for me. But it's essentially based on exactly the point you're making - so "great comment" !
do a video on the best player traits?
Been waiting for this thank you what one is for per-season ?
I should’ve mentioned in the video! I do use presets for pre training. I use the heavy preset for the first two weeks
@@RDFTactics OK thanks again
which regime should be used in preparation for the season?
Finally new video *crying
So if I have two coaches of equal attributes, but one has a higher coaching badge than the other, that makes a difference?
I have one quistion, what about preseason schedule, I remember you make them for FM21, six weeks program
What do I do when you have youth training on Tuesday and Sunday and I have u21 and u18 on Wednesday and Saturday?
The idea of doing less training in terms of intensity when their natural fitness is low has genuinely saved us. We were averaging around 2-3 serious injuries a month and now, 3 months into your schedules and ideas, we've had a 72% decrease in injuries. You legend.
thank you very much
from a Brazilian subscribe
Make a general for a match on sunday please :)
hey thanks. but a question. what is the coach filter?
Rdf can you do a peter bosz psv tactict they are currently unbeaten in the dutch lesgue and they already won the johan cruijf schaal
where have you been bro.i ve missed ur tactics.
With the training schedules I get a high injury risk. Then by the end of the week I have 3/4 players out for a few days.
How do I reduce the injury risk?
Ever thought of streaming here on RUclips too?
I regularly have three match weeks, And I don't think I have a SINGLE one match week all year (maybe apart from the start of the season when I have my European qualifiers, and the end when the cups are over). How can I develop my players? They regularly only get one or two days in between games. Northern Ireland sucks btw.
