This year I have already tried the double pivot with a Libero in a 523 creating a 235 shape having the Libero play as a DM and also the double pivot in the tactic approach with a HB and a Regista in a 433 where I had an attacking full back and an inverted one creating a 325 with more stability and control. I am yet to properly use the inverted wingbacks in a tactic, any suggestions on how I might apply it?
On a 433DM, is it OK to use a hybrid of WB/FB on one side and IWB on the other instead of the usual IFB & IWB combo? Teams like Liverpool & Arsenal IRL use more of the hybrid system rather than having 1 FB as an extra CD (Robbo/Tsimikas & Ben White heatmap indicates it). Cheers
@@stephenjackson4359 Doesn't that potentially take 1-2 players off from the offense? I mean that's how you would lose your wingbacks who overlap the site
Big fan of inverted wing backs. It allows the usage of pushing more attacking players forward without making too many defensive sacrifices.

Are the two IFS forming the double pivot in the last setup at end of vid where you got the L and the HB ?
That's the standard 433 so the two midfielders. Libero shouldn't have been on that
