Same goes for a woman, but a bit more emphasis on survival, because women have not evolved to hunt, do hard physical labor, they're vulnerable as is, but especially when pregnant etc.
So, once you remove these two factors out of the equation... What else is left? When you don't have children, as a man, you don't need a person in a life to cook and clean for you... It's incredibly easy to feed yourself as today as a single person. The point of wives having to cook in the past was so that 4, 5 people of the entire family can sit down and eat together... But if it's just you and her, it's not important. You just get that subway sandwich and be done with it in 10 min, free up time to do something else...
To summarise... The NEED is more important than the WANT... The NEED is why people formed relationships and stuck together... Once you remove the NEED, all you're left is the WANT which boils down to self-centric hedonistic stuff like having someone to jerk you off or listening to you complain... And eventually, those things get tiring... So you just disengage and leave cuz there's nothing really holding you to that type of relationship, there's no duty/responsibility... Appreciate this video brother. I've recently been hung up on an ex but the feelings are slowly disappearing. I've recently crossed paths with an a amazing boxing coach (not gonna name drop, but he is legit) and I've fallen in love with boxing. It's my calling. I do music on my channel as well and study software development (found out my job pays for schooling) and that's all my life is now. It's all about improvement in every conceivable way. I dated a woman for 7 years, She persued me, and not the other way around. I was still young so I figured why not. It was great at first, sex never wavered in the 7 years, that was never an issue. Slowly though I began to see what the final outcome was. It was about her established life, and that she didn't have to adjust. I was the one that had to make all the adjustments. Leave me place, quit my job which i didn't want to, still working that job going on 24 years, her saying stuff about my family which spun my head. When a woman comes to you saying your family has approached her saying stuff and asks you to take sides big red flags should be waving. it got to the point I just wanted out so I could breath and collect my thoughts. To this day my family says they have no idea what I'm taking about or what I think they said to her. That was the clincher, because no matter what was the truth my family comes first before a womans drama. My old man is in his grave so asking him what was the confrontation with her will never be learned, and I don't care. I just walked away with all my stuff and never returned. Only response I got was 3 years later with her texting me "enjoy being alone the rest of your life". That's when I knew I did the right thing, because any woman whose with you that long doesn't say that to you if they truly have your best interest in mind. I take care myself just fine, and I have peace of mind 24/7.

You can still try to get a gf without chasing women, I suggest approaching the woman you want and asking them out on a date and don’t be afraid of getting rejected, but just talk and get to know women with the goal of getting a gf without chasing them and if they aren’t interested just move on to the next. It is important for us men to have standars as well. I agree with everything you said, specially the part about not fearing rejection, which is a HUGE part of why men fail with women. Men are soo deep in the social media world that they don't even interact women anymore and don't want to risk getting rejected because their fragile egos can't handle it. If I like a girl physically I'll go talk to her and try my best to ignore her looks and focus only on her personality and demeanor. If she's cute but her personality sucks i'll pass because i've had pretty hot girlfriends in the past and it doesn't matter how hot she is, you eventually get used to her looks and even start noticing her flaws (cause everyone's got them) so you wanna focus on finding a girl that is cute enough for your standards but focus mostly on her personality.
