This the kind of game I wish I could have played blindly rather than being forced to watch online playthroughs of it, for not having the console this game was for.
I would give this game a solid 8.5 out of 10. It really made me feel a wide range of emotions while playing. Fun, curiosity, frustration, anger, bewilderment, disbelief, contempt, joy, sorrow, and many more. It was a roller coaster ride. A unique experience worth having by any and all people who consider themselves gamers. This is an original game in all forms and contexts that deserves more attention.
I know this is a remixed Beethoven track, but I can't help but think of Strange Journey's music when hearing this. It would make a ton of sense that classical music inspired Meguro when working on Strange Journey's soundtrack.
I think there was a glitch in the western version that rendered the last level of Babel unbeatable. Don't quote me on that but I think I have heard something of that sorts.
That level was the only one I ever had the most trouble with, everything else afterwards was easier. ^^ Sometimes I'd start back at start and not use a checkpoint so I can better the score. That's the way you should do it.

Sometimes, but I never used undo once. I sometimes have to think and go in to the puzzle if I think about it, but sometimes I do trial and error as I formulate my strategy. See what works, see what does not. Sometimes I'd be lazy and rush in, but I'd do a Shikamaru Nara, and get it right the first three times. Mostly the last two levels of the game were what made me abuse the checkpoint. Especially the one level that does not have one and all you have are four five pillars of blocks.

I never actually used Undo, even on Easy mode. It took me until the 7th day to realize that I even forgot about it because I was playing Rapunzel on the 6th stage, when I saw the Undo button on the right showing me it. Still never used it outside Rapunzel, even on the Final Boss. :) I'd rather take as many retries as I need and carefully plan before, than use it so I never got a true Game Over when you use up all your retries (on the Demo I did)
