Oh man this was so nice to watch during such a shit time for us all! How did you traverse the Glacier du Geant without risk of crevasse fall? Or did you just accept it as a small risk?
Thanks! Yeah I hoped it would be a nice small escape for people. I know the risks and I was willing to accept it for a trip. The snow was well frozen and the crevasses were very visible and not covered in snow so it felt to me to be safe enough but I wouldn't condone doing it if you don't feel comfortable.
Great video and great adventure!!! So beautiful
Thanks for sharing, awesome footage! 👌
Thanks for watching!
Such a great video Dave. Bummer more people haven't seen it.
I know!
Wonderful morning out! Great video, free as a bird, thanks for uploading. 😊😊😊
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant videography and nicely put together, it felt like I was there again on top of the Aguille du midi!
Thanks Dad!
Hi Dave...curious where you got that sunglasses from? Looks good and would like one for myself. Thanks
I think those are some Oakley pacemakers. I much prefer my smith wildcats to those
@@DaveSearle thank you
Fantastic video. Really made me happy to watch and escape from the lockdown for 4 minutes :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Increible, nuevo suscriptor por aqui!! Un saludo de Argentina Dave

Dope. Lots of air
For sure was!
nice to see the crampons come off in the air - so that is how to transition from snowy take off to grassy landing :)
Yeah best way I think. You need them on for take off really. But definitely don’t want them on for landing!
Is that the BD Blitz 20 or 28. Was it big enough, maybe you could do a vid on packing for fast and light alpine climbing/mountaineering?
It’s a blitz 20 but I have both! 20 is a good day pack and 28 is better for an overnight!
Good idea for the video!
love it
Thanks!
great vidéo, when was it ? looks like summer
Alexis Pelo thank you! Yeah it was filmed in September last year but I only just got around to editing it.

Which route did you climb?
Just the normal route up the glacier. Nothing serious
