  • Health-related signs that you are likely to come across or need to use in provision of health services to members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community in New Zealand. There is an opportunity to practice in the second half of the film. / @tanishajowsey77
Note: I've realised since making this film that I used an outdated sign for heart attack. So please ignore that sign. Apologies. The correct current sign is light tap on sternum then hand in a fist against sternum moving quickly away from sternum in forward motion.
I am not a sign language expert. I am a (hearing) clinical educator with a deaf husband and I am a member of the Auckland Deaf community.
