    You have so much to be proud of. Thanks for sharing. My people (Motu of PNG) have lost so much of their ancient craft skills like this to Western conveniences. I'm sure our ancient skills are the same as yours since we descended from the same origins in the great Pacific migrations.

    Pohaku! It's Looking and Now! We LOOOOOOONG and miss all u fallah!!!! Everytime we walk market I send aloha! You taught us so much... Major love. Please lmk if this is proper to say goodbye to your 'ohana: a hui hou i oi aku mamua o kekahi kanaka. We never your he, Ike, mana'o. Oh and by the way I want to purchase a lauhala piece if I may. We have two hale, Kauai n Maui, and we r doing so much better financially and I want to DONATE!!!! thank you and 'ohana for being in our ola. Brenna says all dat 2! Lol.     Kia Ora Ataahua (beautiful) Pohaku we also weave called raranga whakairo Maori korowai cloaks. Potae hats kono baskets putiputi flowers clothing rope it is so healing spiritually being connected as one with nature papatuanuku and ranginui, Io ,Atuas tupuna ancestors Whakapapa geoneology etc nga mihi ki a ko e hoa my friend pass it on keep our toanga alive gift atamarie.
