Aunty Gladys Grace Papale Lauhala Weaving

Aunty Gladys Kukana Grace was recognized in 2010 for her contribution to the arts in lauhala weaving. This ninety-one year old Kumu has been passing on this hat weaving skill through the traditional Hawaiian oral method. Watch, Listen, and Do. Here we have a glimpse of this treasure at one of her classes.
