When I first started Zepbound, and started getting willpower, I found myself falling into a keto type diet. Did keto. Had great results, but once I stopped, holy cow I couldn’t stop eating. Regained weight. With Zepbound, I’ve found if I stay low-fat, that has been the best. I do need carbs, but don’t do a lot.
Yes the same for me! I still need carbs but I don’t make it a priority with every meal or I find most of my carbs are from fruits and veggies. I tried keto and had horrible side pains and only lasted a month. But it has worked for some but I knew it wasn’t something I could do long term.
Wonderful advice! I really should see about getting into a nutritionist. I'm not much of a meat and cheese eater. Throw lactose intolerant in there and it feels impossible. So, I'm finding the protein increase really difficult. I start my day with 50 g of protein with a shake and 2 eggs, but it goes downhill from there. I'm sure a nutritionist could really help me out. 🙂
I started researching a nutritionist in my area as well. I have narrowed it down to 2 and whoever has the earliest appt available I will schedule time with!
Wow, 85 pounds! Congratulations! I agree with your tips! You have been on mounjaro for over a year, what dose are you currently taking? Are you still enjoying less food noise? I am on week 24 and am on 5 mg. I am looking forward to titrating up to 7.5 mg in the near future. I still have some appetite suppression and less food noise, but not as much as the first month of 5 mg. Thanks for sharing your journey! 😊
I just dropped from 10 to 7.5. I still have decent amount of appetite suppression but I have noticed after dropping down a dose that I am a tad more hungry now 3-4 days prior to injection day. But I am trying to push through that. Congrats on your weight loss journey so far!
ALL BRAN CERAL, the BEST FIBER! Add to Salads & Yogurts.. you will be amazed and you are welcome
