My city had 23 incidents of pedestrians and bicyclists being hit by cars last week. In just 7 dauys! I found that so bizarre until I remembered you mentioning the airplane crashes. Not sure how it could be related but it's very odd.

Legal marijuana nationwide. High on pot, prescription, alcohol whatever they take while the rest of us are working. Add in increased drivers that are sober but zero common sense and driving ability. I'm not sure about flat earthers in specific, but there are many end-time and rapture-watchers because MrMBB here calls himself an "earth watchman", and that community is also called "watchmen". So, among that quirky religious group, there are probably a lot of overlap with flat-earthers.
