Back in the days I remember how fun this used to be. In fact I got the feeling that videogames were about change completely due to technology like Kinect. Such a shame all this stuff ended up forgotten.
I found an Xbox 360 slim, wireless controller and Kinect in a neighbors bulk trash when they moved out. Had all the cables in the original box and it works perfectly even though it was lightly rained on. NEVER played an Xbox 360 before. It’s awesome!
7:01 I think on the Kinect instructions it is recommended to not play close at open windows, that is why it didnt work. The Kinect uses an infrared emitter to sense depth, that is why it doesnt like sunlight (since the sun emits strong infrared light), especially when it comes directly from a window.

They should make a new Kinect for Xbox Series X|S. And instead of using it in games, just make it a streaming/video conferencing tool. The device itself was great.

It doesnt work. First because most games that are retrocompatible (newer Xboxes have backwards compatibility but they dont work with ALL games) dont support Kinect in any way and the very few ones that were made with Kinect functions and are compatible like Child of Eden if you attempt to play a Kinect mode it will say that you cant access this part of the game because the current device is not compatible with this version of Kinect and to try to play this part of the game you need a Xbox 360. None of the games shown on this video are compatible with Xbox One and Series, the closest one that "works" on One and Series consoles is Joy Ride because it has a "sequel" (Joy Ride Turbo) which works without the Kinect. This version specifically doesnt work too.

Best thing to use it for. I did also. I also bought the Tiger Woods golf game to play on Kinect and I really enjoy it.

You should try D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. It's one of rhe best Kinect games and one od my all time favorite games
