I have a “Veloxar” it looks almost the same. I agree the fitting where the display unit attaches to the base is awkward to attach and un-attach. On my unit there is a telescopic arm, if you unscrew the knob on that arm you can pull the arm out pretty easily. A good solution if you are parking in a rough neighbourhood. 👍
I bought a carpuride device, then decided I wanted another unit for my truck. I bought an inexpensive one. It lasted about 8 hours. I now have two carpurides. I had a problem with the light sensor on one of them. they sent me a new unit right away. I am happy with the extra cost to get that kind of service.

@@netguyz All i know is, I've been happy with mine. And their customer service seems to be first rate.
I just recently got the carpuride myself and I love everything about it but the brightness is not that great in the daylight or when it's really sunny out. Would you say your units are good when it comes to brightness? should I get a replacement?
@@beep_beepim_a_jeep5162 that's a hard call without seeing it. I sure you have, but just to rule it out. Did you click the switch to turn the automatic brightness on? When mine stopped working it went to the lowest brightness and you could hardly see it. If I manually adjusted the brightness it was visible but the minute I turned automatic back on it went to the lowest setting again. Hope this helps.
@@tl56kmair I tried both automatic brightness and just having it manual, seems to be pretty much the same. I did recently bought a atoto to see if the brightness is better. When I receive it and test it out I’ll come back with an update
Net Guyz..... I'm glad to find you as I was beginning to think these guys were a scam as I haven't been able to get them to respond to anything. Question - why would I be getting a notice to enter a Carplay pin... I've never had to do that with other cars and their displays. Do you know? I have a 2004 Lexus
any clues how to make the front camera works?

I bought with a dash cam but i never been able to find a way to make the dash cam work. Look like a apps is missing
I dont have this but If you have an aux cord it will sound way better . Also if your car has Bluetooth you can connect the device to it then your phone . thats how most of these work . If your using an iphone with aux cord you wont be able to talk on hear but can can get a bluetooth 3.5 mm aux dapter and then you can make calls ..
I wish this model took an aux cord! And doing Bluetooth works for connecting to my phone but I can’t do Bluetooth to my speakers. That is what I needed!
The problem is the Bluetooth on your car is a older version that is not compatible with the CarPlay.
Yeah the radio station connection wasn’t the best at first. It has been pretty stable with a radio frequency that doesn’t have an active radio station on it.
There is no wifi password on the manual. Just the bluetooth. Do you know the code for wifi?

When I have it connected via radio station signal my Spotify etc only plays for around 5 seconds then stops
On mine it has the volume set at 15, but I see yours is at 20. Do you know how to change it?

Were you able to get the bluetooth to connect from the device to your car? Got it last week and am still trying to find the setting.. In contact with them also so hopefully that goes somewhere!
You need to set the radio transmitter to get audio from the device to the car stereo
U need to find a station that doesn’t have a music or anythingolaying
Hi, thanks for the vídeo. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ with Bose radio system, how does it connect to this radio?
Select the Radio from the main screen, then select the FM frequency you want to try. I have some examples in my video where I pick different frequencies. I found a frequency that was mostly static because in my first demo, I picked one that was an active music station and that was what was cutting out my phone call as I drove.
@@netguyz does it work better now that you’re not using an active station? I’ve been thinking of getting this exact device, but I‘m actually afraid it‘s gonna be a scam/not working properly. What’s your experience with it so far?
One thing to have in mind is that for longer trips there might be an active radiostation on that frequency.
No big problem but you might have to change a few times if your leaving your area.
Could u add a steering remote to this
Put the remote onto the steering wheel? I have seen that with other systems, but this one wouldn’t fit well.
How did you tune the radio into car sceeen
all the stations you saw are preset. So I went through and tried each frequency on my radio until I found one that didn't have an active station on it.

I got one and must say i am badly disappointed. And carscreen not doing anything about it. I would not recommend this product.
That is ashame to hear! Let me know if they ever reach back, or you end up trying something else.

@Tech•Mark radio frequency is only 88.6 to 91.50fm, of which all are taken so get interference, the Bluetooth constantly disconnects.
