HOW TO TAP REAR-VIEW MIRROR FOR DASHCAM POWER (DEMO on 2024 Lexus NX)

Today's video was filmed on the 2024 Lexus NX 350h and would like to be similar to the same configuration on other Lexus NX, RX, and newer models.
There is more than 1 way to get power for the Lexus NX to get power for a dash-cam or another device. One method is to run the wires and fuse "tap". A simpler way is to borrow power from the rearview mirror or rain sensor. Note if you use the energy from the dashcam, the dashcam will likely not power on when the vehicle is off.
In the video, I'll show which splitter cable I will use, how to remove the rearview mirror covers, install the splitter, put back the covers, and test the setup.
