The general consensus is that whatever Blizzard is paying their CGI team, it's not enough. The amount of damage control and revenue that team alone is responsible for is amazing. Because it seems no matter how much Blizzard seems to screw up with WoW gameplay, policies, stories, etc. the cinematics always manage to pull people back/in.
Just the sheer amount of people I've heard (thinking) about returning to WoW or starting it just because of this cinematic is already impressive.
I mean, not *just* because of this cinematic, but also the fact that the main guy behind the whole Warcraft universe, Chris Metzen, is back behind the wheels, full-time.
The one thing at Blizzard that hasn't been lackluster EVER.
Notice the sword, shalamayne? It does not have light orb attached to it, suggests he does have no light.
POV: Show you have no clue on what’s going on in the video without showing you have no clue🫠
I think this game needs to be upgraded to Unreal 5 and the utmost care taken to keep those with less powerful hardware to still be able to play the game, but those with the hardware should reap the graphical upgrade.
After Anduin Wyrnn been through in shadowlands(I won't specific what they are because of potential spoilers miss @bunnymoon hasn't played yet) hopefully she gets to react the previous cutscenes /cinematics for her to learn more of the lore (just my suggestion) since she played wrath of the lich king so it's up to her if she heeds my suggestion or not but the world of warcraft has rich lore to explore much of this universe in my opinion.

The Trailer is amazing. Anduin has gone through so much. Years have passed and he is around 28-30 years in the trailer.
They captured his pain and trauma so well.

"That's a female voice" - What by the way means nothing in WoW story, since you see old gods, demons and so one change their voice as they please and can easily talk like that to manipulate others. One of the big reasons why Thrall says "I'm not sure."
It COULD be Azeroth, the world soul - but it could also for example just be another try to trick them as done so many times before. (on top of that: It's not even clear what Azeroth is exactly).
Not sure I'm correct but the world soul is warning them that sargeras is coming back to finish the job...
To put it in a short story is before sargeras goes bad he found another world which corrupted by the old gods to make a similar titan like sargeras with powers compare with the pantheon (like the movie eternals how titan was born 😂😂😂😂 so destroying the planet to born out a titan)
So I'm guessing that world like 90% progress and by stopping it sargeras cleave it in half killing world stone /soul and every life on it...
So he when back report to the pantheon but they cast him out being baddie... He show tantrum then form his own faction then goes rampage on old gods scheme by cleansing world

With old god like n'zoth, c'thuun, and yogg saron defeated or destroyed. Azeroth, as a world soul feels free, but a danger appears in horizon that could threaten her/his being. And probaly that sword, gorribal has something to do with this vision. One way or another, azeroth, its people and the planet will have a big fight coming at them in near future. Will she awakens as most powerful titan, or succumbs to outside force like the void, and become dark titan? Looking forward for this warcraft pack.

Damn it's really a miss the feeling of reading the lore of wow... Lol... I'm guessing that's the sword of sargeras and he's coming back...
I when straight for the lore and found out and made the connection with the lore and this next expansion... Not sure I'm right but please correct me if I'm wrong
Before sargeras goes bad he found another world was corrupted by the old gods and he captured some demons and interrogate them and found out that the old gods are trying to corrupt the world stone or heart of the world we called it to create an entity that similar to sargeras being and the powers are same as sargeras and his brothers the pantheon... So to stop it sargeras cleave that world in half and destroying it with that killing everything within that world...
So he when back to his brothers or sisters to report what he found and what he did but they cast him out for destroying a world and cause a mass genocide which lead him to cut all ties with them then releasing the demons that has be cultivating within his world and for the burning legion
So what I believe is this
To protect his brothers which is the pantheon that he loves so much he has to do the dirtiest work even it has to kill everyone just to prevent what the old gods are scheming.... So he set out a crusade by cleansing the world by destroying everything which was called the burning crusade...
So he set his eyes on azzeroth and saw the old gods has made the world like 50% progress I think... So he decided to destroying azzeroth by cleave it in half but was stop by the heroes of azzeroth and the titans help... So sargeras was banish back to his world to get medical care and left his toothpick plunging in azzeroth
So he's coming back to finish the job even the old gods are gone but he's goal or objective is already set... There's no point in discussing with the dark titan was set to finish the job...
That's how I'm guessing lol😂😂😂😂😂😂
He's not coming back in these next few expansions at least it's more about who or what the sword was aimed at.
