8:32 That's what the Shadowlands cinematic is for :). You guys should watch the rest of the Warbringers shorts as well as the Afterlives shorts btw, they're all super good and absolutely gorgeous.
Mok'Gora is a duel of honor that is very important to the horde, specifically the orc who invented it, where one challenges the warchief or someone who is a leader. Originally to the death but not since former warchief thralls rule. Using magic is against the duel of honor and considered very dis-honorable. Refusal to fight means banishment.
That's simply not true! Mak'gora has simple rules - and it's up to the contenders about what to agree on. Magic has never been stated to be forbidden, and has, in fact, been used in multiple Mak'gora duels and thus seems to be permitted. Similarly, many Mak'gora duels have involved both fighters wearing body armor as well, but it can also be forbidden when explicitly required.
@@heiko3169 Actually magic may be "allowed" but it is extremely frowned upon. If you look back in lore you will see Gul'Dan cheated because he used magic and when thrall used magic he lost his connection with the elements because he acted dishonorably.
@@EleanorNaomi Thrall lost his connection with the elements because he started doubting himself. He doubted himself because he saw himself respobsible for Garrosh "turning evil". @John Nabil I mean you can... but it's insanely rare. Resurrection is an in-game mechanic. Resurrection in the lore requires an insanely powerful being. When Calia Menethil was resurrected, it took a Naaru and two of the most powerful priests (Anduin and Alonsus Faol) to do so.

Varok Saurfang's death is the most heartbreaking event since Varian died on the Broken Shore in Legion. Good warriors that died protecting their faction and the whole Azeroth.
Btw Shalamayne (the King's sword with the glow-y thingy) will only break apart like that if held by a truly honorable individual, proving at the end that Saurfang was an honorable orc.
The "prince" is actually the High king of the Alliance. Anduin is approximately 18 here. His father was killed sortly after the cinematic for Legion took place.
@@hairgel5 The Broken Shore cut scenes would be great to react to, lol. Seeing Vul'Jin and Sylvanas betray Varian and leave him to die, and then Varian sacrificing himself to save the survivors
Honestly this ending to the War Campaign isn't satisfying to either faction. The Horde just watched an Alliance King march through the gates of Orgrimmar, while the Alliance selectively forgot that the rest of the Horde was just as responsible for the Teldrassil genocide as Sylvanas.
"Saurfang your contribution, your leadership of the Horde will never be forgotten." We've been fighting alongside this character for 15 years, through multiple wars, the death of his son, and now two rebellions against tyrannical Warchiefs. It's great to see that his legacy can be appreciated by people who don't even play the game. These cinematics were the perfect send off, nothing short of magnificent.
Varok Saurfang got absolutely everything he wanted out of that challenge. 1) Sylvanas Windrunner is not just no longer Warchief, she's left the Horde entirely after being angered into revealing her true thoughts on The Horde, no longer poisoning it from within; what her Forsaken will do in her absence is left to be seen. 2) As he said at the start of the cinematic... only one life was lost instead of an entire battlefield of the dead. 3) He got the Warrior's death he's longed for for so many years. Shame the events of the upcoming expansion means things won't quite be so restful for him for a little while yet...

If you're going to react to the cinematic for the last expansion (shadowlands) next I suggest watching the "fall of the litch king ending" cutscene, it's not as pretty as the others as it's done with the game engine (from 10+ years ago), not externally rendered like the others you have watched thus far, but it helps you understand some key parts of the shadowlands cinematic and it's probably the most beloved cutscene by the WoW community (like every cinematic where the litch king appears, as he's probably the most loved villain in all of the Warcraft series)
Please react to tf2 meet the spy this game is 13 years old and the father of Overwatch edit: also this game is about to die so might as well know about it then not
His plan was to show the alliance and the horde how braindead Sylvanas is and he succeded cause now even the forsaken (her people) hate her. Also Anduin is the High King not prince xD
I think a lot of people misunderstood the power of Anduin, from what I got Anduin never mass-resurrected. He was using mass-heal, those soldiers were all moaning on the ground, those were heavy injured soldiers unable to fight and just waiting to be finished after the battle. He used mass-heal and helped them get up. That’s what I always thought anyways, seems too illogical for him to be able to resurrect, that’s a Valkyr’s job 😂
The rules of a Mak'gora seem to be different between each Mak'gora since they are chosen and set by the participants themselves. Generally, there are thus no specific rules. There are only two consistent themes in all Mak'gora: once dropped, a weapon cannot be retrieved by either opponent and that the pair must fight to the death or until submission. You guys haven't finished everything from BFA. Shadowlands is another expansion. For BFA you missed a lot and the in game cinematics were important too. There were 3 that lead up to Reckoning that set it up. An Unexpected Reunion, Crossroads and The Negotiation. Now there were more before that associated with Jaina that you missed Arrival to Kul Tiras, Realm of Torment and Return of Hope. For the setup of BFA you missed the other two Warbringers: Jaina and Azshara. There were also the 3 Harbingers videos for Legion, the 5 Lords of War videos for Warlords of Draenor and the Burdens of Shaohao videos for Pandaria but I'd say mostly worry about BFA before you do Shadowlands next. There's also the Horde cinematics for BFA. Something a lot of reaction channels seem to skip that irks me is the patch trailers, in game cinematics and features trailers for each expansion minus original WoW and Burning Crusade since they didn't have those. They tell more story and you get a better sense for how each expansion progressed the game from year to year. Most expansions lasted 2 years with 2-4 named major content patches that had story trailers of their own. Also, I said this once before but you guys didn't mess up the order between the Battle for Azeroth intro cinematic and Old Soldier. Even though it took place earlier. Old Soldier was released months after BFA actually dropped. I could do a list of anything you missed, (no idea why but I like doing this for reaction content creators) but only if you guys are sure you'd see it.
that "Small ass blade" has the ability to literally cut through magic and can split into twin swords for its wielder and not to mention it has slain Onyxia, the dragon queen
People are talking about ressurection like its an easy thing to do. In the game, it's a typical mechanic that happens all the time, but in the lore it doesn't happen so often. More specifically, there's a tidbit of lore in warcraft about "immortal spirits" vs "mortal spirits". We as players are immortal spirits, for us ressurection is an easy thing. But many of the major lore characters do not possess this immortal spirit, so when they die its final. Getting back will be incredibly hard for them, vs how easy it is for us to bounce back. The only major lore character confirmed to have an immortal spirit is Illidan Stormrage, a night elf turned half-demon who leads a faction of elves called Demon Hunters. He himself is the one who confirms this if you die as a demon hunter during the tutorial missions for that class. Varok Saurfang was obliterated by Sylvanas here, but he is the true victor of this Mak'Gorah (That's orcish for Honorable Duel, by the way, and orcs are the ones who founded the Horde, so it's become a typical Horde thing to hold Mak'Gorah. It's even an in-game feature adopted by both Horde and Alliance). He won the Horde back, at the cost of his own life. I havent played Horde much myself, I'm an alliance main, but from what I've heard Sylvanas used a type of magic here that is unheard of to the most learned spellcasters of the world. His soul was ripped away from his body, leaving nothing TO ressurect if they even tried. Interestingly in-game, we have Shadow magic and a subset of Shadow magic is Death Magic, but its still classified by mechanics as Shadow even though its death themed, and there's fairly few spells that are death themed even among the undead enemies and players. So it could be that she was just using raw death magic, or she was using something much more sinister that we dont have a clue about. (But we're likely going to find out one way or another in the next expansion)
Varok is a legend what with being the Supreme Commander of multiple armies such as the might of Kalimdor. But, you might want to look up his brother. Broxigar the red. Who himself managed to wound a god. Nothing screams more Orcish than the Saurfang Brothers..

Then watch the Diablo 3&4 cinematics please.
You young kids have no idea what Sylvanas has suffered for the Horde. They betrayed her time and time again. I played Wow from Beta to BfA. She will always be my queen. You’d do well to investigate her lore. For the horde, the one true horde Lok’ tar Ogar!
Guys you missed warbringers azshara and warbringers Jaina. There are also really great short stories like "Lords of War" and "Harbingers" and "Burdens of Shaohao".
Saurfang should've known, that you don't fuck with ex Ranger-General of Elvish Army who is more than 10k years old and fought wars when his Ancestors weren't even born.

Just throwing it out there because it seemed yall were a little confused about the Undead not following her: The Forsaken (the playable undead faction and the undead characters you saw here and in the previous one) were originally raised to follow Arthas (the Lich King), but during a moment of weakness a fraction of his undead broke free and regained their free will. These undead were united under Sylvanas and the absolute vast majority saw her as the savior of their race. Sylvanas initially reached out to the Alliance in the hopes that the humans would welcome the return of the fallen kingdom of Lordaeron (the Forsaken were basically the entire population of that kingdom, or at least the population that regained free will). Sadly the Alliance saw them as monsters and not as the people that they were. Desperate for allies, Sylvanas turned to the Horde who hesitantly welcomed them into their ranks. Just imagine how betrayed the Forsaken were when they heard the woman that saved them from an eternity of mindless enslavement say that they were all "nothing".
Just got the Shadowlands trailer left now. Sylvannas's plan B. When thats done you guys should check out the Diablo 4 trailer. Best trailer for a game i've ever seen
I mean technically Thrall did not cheat, magic has never been banned in a Mak'gora and Saurfang knew that, when a mak'gora is issued rules tend to be set for it like in the Garrosh vs Cairne's battle there was to be no magic. However with Garrosh VS Thrall they went right into the duel with no rules placed, same in this case. Though most orc tribes tend to set the rule of not using magic before hand in both of these cases it was not an issue.
The thing is Sylvanas uses the Jailer's magic, it wasnt her own. They explained that the powers Sylvanas used against Saurfang is something new and something she didnt have originally.
@@Velshin1986 she uses a shadow bolt... that's nothing new, the same magic she and the other undeads use from the beggining. The only problem is blizzard never did anything with Sylvanas for a dozens years. So ofc, people are surprised when she used her magic, but she is powerfull, far more powerful than a simple orc warrior and even without the Jailer.
I kinda want you guys to watch "The (almost) Complete History of World of Warcraft" by Hidden Azeroth. Explains a lot, but you probably need to slow it down to avoid the confusion :P
we really dont know how story will end in shadowland but players find out from beta azeroth like battery for shadowland and only sylvanas know that from end boss Jailler (Big bad ((maybe)) and sylvanase dont want to die so she make deal with him Ps: i think at end Sylvanas will save us or become boss in real of death
Something you should know...."Mak'gora" is an Orcish challenge to the death. There are no rules to it other than rules that are established at the onset of the fight. In this instance, no conditions were stated.
there are shorts for mists of pandaria, lords of war for warlords of draenor and harbingers for legion , warbringers for bfa and afterlives for shadowlands also there are a lot of ingame cinematics and videos from warcraft 1,2 and reign of chaos and the frozen throne. ps: sylvannas cheated by using magic during the fight

you guys need to see the shadowland trailer and every warbringer...+ Sylvanas if u are a player and know the lore told us every single time from WTLK what is going on..but a loth of people don't listen, very sad, Sylvanas will free as all like she say in the end of the shadowland cinematic
Illidan: [bass-boosted] There can be no chosen one. Only we can set us free. Sylvanas: And *I* will set us all fr- [gets stream-sniped by the Jailer for stealing *his* idea of setting nobody free]

Shadowlands is next. I'm really stoked to get your reactions for that now that you have a good picture of what is going on.
After the Shadowlands trailer, watch this one: ruclips.net/video/X2992bdBSYU/видео.html
It's the next step in the lore, but there's a lot of in-game cinematics you can catch-up on.
Then watch the Diablo 3&4 cinematics please.
I'm so glad that Haley picked up on Saurfang repeating what Delaryn Summermoon said on the beach of Darkshore. So many people miss that little nugget.
Saurfang should've known, that you don't fuck with ex Ranger-General of Elvish Army who is more than 10k years old and fought wars when his Ancestors weren't even born.
holy crap i was just watching your other video when this came out whut
These cinematics are trash from a story perspective. They ruined both Saurfang and Sylvanas. It's really terrible.
1 of the top cinematics of all time and you guys are just 'taking the piss' out of every scene. highly disrespectfull imo. Try for once just to watch, listen and understand the cinematic. Watching this I felt like being in a movie theatre with noisy young kids having to shush all the time..
Just throwing it out there because it seemed yall were a little confused about the Undead not following her:
The Forsaken (the playable undead faction and the undead characters you saw here and in the previous one) were originally raised to follow Arthas (the Lich King), but during a moment of weakness a fraction of his undead broke free and regained their free will.
Sylvanas: uses magic
Thrall: HEY THAT'S CHEA... wait a minute...
@@jasoncustoms5272 It was banned. Only true strenght of a Warrior is alowed to prove that you are worthy.
@Lance Raider
- Good grief... not another one with "magic was allowed"... sad, really sad.
Explains a lot, but you probably need to slow it down to avoid the confusion :P
we really dont know how story will end in shadowland but players find out from beta azeroth like battery for shadowland and only sylvanas know that from end boss Jailler (Big bad ((maybe)) and sylvanase dont want to die so she make deal with him
Ps: i think at end Sylvanas will save us or become boss in real of death
Something you should know...."Mak'gora" is an Orcish challenge to the death. There are no rules to it other than rules that are established at the onset of the fight. In this instance, no conditions were stated.
there are shorts for mists of pandaria, lords of war for warlords of draenor and harbingers for legion , warbringers for bfa and afterlives for shadowlands also there are a lot of ingame cinematics and videos from warcraft 1,2 and reign of chaos and the frozen throne.
ps: sylvannas cheated by using magic during the fight
Mak'Gora (Duel of Honor) is probably the best thing in the entire Warcraft Universe
RIP,lord varock..for the HORDE😩😪😭😭😭😭😭😭
waiting for shadowlands and the heroes of the storm cinematic (its only like 2 mins but really great with nice rock music ;))
Hello :3 please don't forget to react to shadowlands features trailer with shadowlamds cinematic it's nice to watch together.
asian guy to busy making stupid jokes missing a line and then asking what se said.. someone tell him he is not funny maybe he stops making "funny" jokes..
You guys should react to something like this ruclips.net/video/wcVYsE1yzBI/видео.html so you can get context with the in game cinematics along side the CGI ones.
They guy you called from lich king trailer ice baby ice is who killed her long time ago, Arthas former lich king told her he would not give her the peace of death
that one with glasses you wouldn't even pick the sword up you are small I guess you are below 5ft
You need to react to world of warcraft like the Homies reacted to it. They reacted in a proper order and they understood the story more better. I really want you ppl to know the story in deep.

skip to 1:37 and avoid the boring blabber.
you guys need to see the shadowland trailer and every warbringer...+ Sylvanas if u are a player and know the lore told us every single time from WTLK what is going on..but a loth of people don't listen, very sad, Sylvanas will free as all like she say in the end of the shadowland cinematic
Illidan: [bass-boosted] There can be no chosen one. Only we can set us free.
Sylvanas: And *I* will set us all fr- [gets stream-sniped by the Jailer for stealing *his* idea of setting nobody free]
Wade: "GG". Not really, Mok'gora is an ancient orcish honorable duel to death which you fight only barefist no magic or anything. She cheated.
Garrosh was thell a thruth sylvanas is a witch
Mak'gora is how orc call a duel basicaly, but the rules are controversial for the comunity, some say that use magic like Shylvana did is cheating, some say that the rules have to be said before the duel. Resurrection is possible in the game for the players but not for the lore.
Magic has never been stated to be forbidden, and has, in fact, been used in multiple Mak'gora duels and thus seems to be permitted.
Funny enough that people who slay Sylvanas for "cheating", seemed to ignore what happened in the Mak'gora between Garrosh and Thrall...
Cant wait for react for shadowlands
Dont react to wow anymore pls.
Shout out from Iceland!
For the Alliance baby!!!!
omg u still at it are u sillybeans
Sylvanas went to icecrown
She was never evil to begin with she’s trying to tell them something that there is a greater evil that was plotting against them since the very beginning she’s pretending to be evil remember she was a hero
Keyword: was. She isn't now; the days of her being a hero ended towards the end of Legion, if not all the way back to shortly after the fall of the Lich King.
u know what mak`ghora is`
