this video is absolutely my favourite edit on the web!! Do you guys use any gear for stabilizing footage (stabilizer or IS lenses)? or do you guys just use an upside down tripod and the camera man has very steady hands?
We mostly use an upside down tripod. What makes it stable is the weight of the tripod and camera which are relatively heavy, it gets hard to film this way sometimes but the result is always worth it.
Dusty Frasca you need very strong brakes for trials and the geometry isnt the best for it but dirt jumping,street/park and things like that wont be a problem
If you're interested in learning more about Conn Baker, one of the early Diavolo's who looped-the-loop on a bicycle you can read my article about him. Here is a link to it: connbaker.blogspot.com/2020/04/conn-baker-in-beginning.html
We sometimes use skateboards to film, but this technique allows you to be more versatile with your speeds and direnctions. One thing that would be smart for us to use is running shoes that would make less noise, that's for sure! Thanks for the love homie!
Watched this about 20 times, still the best mtb street video in existence
Finally a mtb vid with good music!
Wow, Matt really has become one of MTB street's superpowers. Amazing moves there, congrats. I just love the lack of skatepark elements.
