After seeing this I thought “Fine, I’ll buy it.” Then I spent a lot of time in the tutorial for the AV-42C. I felt so accomplished after learning it and started the first mission. Dropping off the soldiers was a real challenge (landing on the helipad) but I did it, and the next sequence was when it happened. The next step was to meet up with the fighters. After meeting up in the sky they told me they’ll form up in my left and right. This was the moment that blew me away… seeing the fighters form up on both sides out the window. All the challenge of operating the craft culminated into that incredible moment. It was one of the best moments of accomplishment and awe in gaming ever for me. I was already having a lot of fun, but that moment changed everything. I have no idea what the remaining missions will be like, but I am enamored with VTOL VR and I’m glad people wouldn’t shut up about it!
Eyos tries not to cook challenge *impossible* But fr a 6 and a half minute cinematic in VTOL sounds like a pain to film. you and the rest of CAW-8 have some serious dedication
This was so expertly put together, congrats to all the people involved on this! I am sorry if the Cinematic Unity Explorer had some quirks you folks had to figure out, I just released 1.3 a month ago with some stuff that would hopefully make it easier for things like this to be made. There is still a long way to go (I want to refactor the whole camera path module), but I am glad my mod still proved to be useful in its current form :)
@@niconavall Thanks for making such an amazing tool. This video couldn’t have been possible without it. If possible is there some way I can get in contact with you to discuss our experience using CUE? This is an amazing tool and I wish more people knew about it.
Beautiful 👏🏻 today i made my first green light (no "wave off" thing) catching the 4th cable landing on a carrier at 1st try and understand why this game is so good ❤
God damn spectacular.. Worth ever second. Gave me the chills you get from watching something you've been waiting for, for ages. This is such amazing quality, my mind is blown. :O AMAZING JOB!!
Holy sh## this was amazing I watched the whole video inclucding the credits when I saw that scene with the clouds and rockets Oppenheimer inmediately entered my thought but DAMNNNN was this amazing I wonder how you did it, chapeau 🥂 🔥
How you can have it in your library and not sweat to play it is astounding and needs to be researched. But, seriously it's worth the wait. Works well with all headsets and the community is very kind
I just started using vtolvr's reddit and witnessed all the morons downvoting for the sake of downvoting your post. I hope it didn't bum you down, this was masterfully done, a great addition to my collection
This is fantastic! how the hell did you get the filming like this? (if its filmed, not animated. regardless, impressive!) id love a "making of" style video
If I could do it all again I would have started with a shot list. It would have saved a lot of time and less stuff would have ended up on the cutting room floor. At the beginning of the project I was just winging it with whatever shots looked coolest but by the end of the project we were getting shot lists together for each segment of the video.
i try to play this a few times a year but holy hell im too stupid to understand the weapons systems, how to use them, and when to use them. but holy crap its still a rad game.
@@EyosYT xD Still more hours than I have. I'm currently rocking a perfect 15hrs of flight and slowly playing it more and more. Do you know any good servers to kind of get someone to play with by chance? You also can't get washed up after a year come on now xD
@@coocoocatgaming840 Back in the old days of VTOL VR there was an Independence Day event based on the movie. In it there is a mothership that fires a laser that causes a massive explosion. We did VTS editing to bring this mothership into the New York map and used the explosion from the laser for the nuke.
Can I ask what is your setup? Do you use physical joysticks? Or you're just that precise with VR controllers? It feels like mine are all over the place, especially with helicopter.
Vtolvr does not use hotas, you can change the stick's sensitivity in the "Game" menu while in the aircraft (y'know, an option on the mfd). However, as anything in vtolvr, this is most likely ability measured in butt hours* *lol, that sounds weird. It's meant to be time sitting and studying heh. An expression in my hometown that doesn't translate well now that I read it :p
Don't get too excited, but my socks have been thoroughly knocked off

This looks amazing!
So glad I was able to help where I could
Eyos with another insane video!
Man, I hope other people working on huge cinematic projects in VTOL take notice of this masterpiece.
In between the frozen ejected pilot turning towards the camera and the way the nose wheel spun reality I had chills. Terrifyingly awesome.
That went 10x harder than it had any right to be. This was awesome!
Seeing this all come together is just so amazing.

Nice! Seeing that AJ on those tails brings back memories, I was attached to caw8 irl from 1997 to 2001.
Really looking forward to this guys! 😎
And I was in there this time. YIPPPEEEEE

this goes unfathomably hard. well done, 10/10 will be showing friends to get them to play lol
I’ve had vtol in my steam library for the last two years, but have yet to be able to afford a pc. Hopping to get it by march!
Merry Christmas!

Wow just wow this is a masterpiece keep up the good work 😮

Absolutely brilliant! 👏 It's been too long since I played.
Incredible as always
how is this even possible
By far the game i have the most hours in vr. Right with Skyrim VR. Vtol VR is the greatest VR game ever i fucking love it

Amazing work!...clap for yourself😂
Thanks man, I appreciate it!
masterpiece
Damn man, I appreciate the compliment. I love your content btw.
Really well done! Kudos!
HOLY SHIT
this is the VTOLVR cinematic of all time
How could you make such epic shots? It looks way to awesome, to be made with the S-Cam? Are there any mods for that?
We used a mod called cinematic unity explorer to make this video. The link is in the description.
@EyosYT thank you very much 🙏
it is legally required for this to become an advert for the game
I really like the slowed shots / time stop you gotta do a tutorial on how to do that haha
I love the thumbnail. It's recreating a famous photo, right?
@guerillagorilla4423 Yup it’s a recreation of the Banana Pass photo.
Great shots, loved the credits sequence
Breathtaking
How did you get the nuke effect! That was incredible!
DAMN YALL COOKED
Hahahaha I absolutely suck at making videos. Amazing work my man!
Spent a few seconds wondering WTF an XO is doing in a fighter, until realising it's probably a clan rank.
When you think of it this way, like a real XO, I hardly fly so it fits.
Oh my god
1:15 was cold
Mery christmas Eyos
Merry Christmas!
Cinema
This is actually so good
Nah this is nuts bro 🔥🔥 how tf....
That was a great job.🔥
Whoa where'd my socks go
Nicely done

Ho Lee Fuk, Amazing.
SOLID
I want to ask, did you have a shot list and plan when making this? Or did you just add stuff together until it looked good.

How to get the crew on the carrier? Epic video I am wet
Thanks lol. We used the super carrier mod for the deck crew shots. The link can be found in the description.
Epic af
What skin did you use for the tomcats with the custom names on them? Would like to do that for my planes

How do you get these shots?!
you have to do a behind the scenes
I just want to know how many hours he got since he 1v3'd a year ago. Stumbled upon this channel and now I gotta know
Just over 300 since that video. But most of that was filming this video. I'm completely washed up when it comes to PvP now. XD

I would like to know if you are using mods or something similar that enhance the graphics or is everything naturally in game?
Are you using a S-CAM mod to get these. If so, please tell me the name so I can use it.
