- ANAMED Library Talks continue on October 1 with Lieve Donnellan and Laura Pisanu. The talk is entitled “Archaeological Networks and Social Interaction”
The book project Archaeological Networks and Social Interaction aims to improve our understanding of applications of network analysis for studying social interactions in the past. Very successful applications of network analysis exist for studying settlement archaeology and movement through the landscape, but social interactions come with their own complexities. This talk will highlight some of the discussions involved and delve deeper into a detailed case study, that of Pithkoussai, known by most as the first Greek colony in the West. Laura Pisanu will be the moderator of the talk.
