I have been in a place of grief and distrust since I lost my husband over 8 years ago. He was my soulmate. We were together 34 years and raised 4 sons.. Different country...different problems....here in India 90% of the population are forced to arranged marriage..... mostly people with zero compatibility get married and it is mostly the woman who suffers throughout her whole life.....just day before yesterday I woke up hearing a very bad news.... a girl committed suicide because of domestic violence by her husband and his family due to the dowry problems.... and this happened in the state of Kerala which is the place with 100% literacy rate in India.... so just imagine the situation of other states..... actually we are educating the women to go for a divorce if they are not comfortable with the marriage....a failed marriage is always better than a suicide...... again, different country from yours.... you can choose your partners.... I am currently walking on fire because I am not married at the age of 26, my parents are forcing me to get married and I don't want to...but who cares, every time I face my relatives with fear.....

Jenna Pearce... ❤️ I am also from Ohio! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ While I do live in a small village, it is surrounded by several large suburbs that are part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area (with over 3 million people). Originally I was from a very rural area in southern West Virginia (in a large valley surrounded by tall ridges and mountains). I was raised there by my maternal grandparents. (My parents divorced and abandoned me there). They had a very large farm... a really big garden, orchards (even grew grapes for wine), over a dozen honey bee hives, chickens, turkeys, (even a couple of geese), beef cattle, dairy cows, goats, sheep and a couple of horses... (at one point Gramps had four very large Belgian draft horses). Alas, those days are long gone. The area has become more and more built up... (I don't even recognize area anymore... so sad). A very large mountain that was a HUGE sheep ranch on one side and covered with forests and meadows is now a commercial ski resort (when I was a kid, I camped there all the time... except when I was working cause farm work is very hard)

It is rejuvenating to be in touch with who I am and where I come from. It was beautiful to hear of your beginnings with Johan. What a “awesome” couple as they say here to have found each other. I live in Idaho and the winters can be long. I feel tired all the time. I appreciate what you said in one of your previous videos about embracing those feelings instead of fighting them. My boyfriend and I also met via the internet. Also, we were at a point where we actually were done with relationships. And that's exactly where we started writing, I live in Germany, he lived in Switzerland. It was soon clear that we both had fallen in love and today we both live together in Germany and are very happy with each other :)
My husband met on the Internet too. But when we met in 1997 the Internet was new and people thought we were crazypl. We were friends for a year before admitting our feelings. It was not an acceptable thing to meet on the Internet but falling in love was a big no no. He flew 2,500 miles to meet me and we knew. I then flew 2,500 to meet him. Though we lived in the same country the distance seemed insurmountable. People were so negative and told us things would never work out. In 2000 I moved to be with him. In 2001 we were married. There have been ups and downs but we are happy. People were wrong. It did work.

I was in a deep dark depression from past emotional and physical trauma, a depression that i could not seem to get out of. Your videos have really helped me to get out of that. Darkness, these past couple of days. There is nothing profound or life altering in them. You are simply just showing us the extreme joy that comes from the art of simple daily living, and yet, that is the most profound joy of all. It reminds us of how we used to be when we were children. Different country...different problems....here in India 90% of the population are forced to arranged marriage..... mostly people with zero compatibility get married and it is mostly the woman who suffers throughout her whole life.....just day before yesterday I woke up hearing a very bad news.... a girl committed suicide because of domestic violence by her husband and his family due to the dowry problems.... and this happened in the state of Kerala which is the place with 100% literacy rate in India.... so just imagine the situation of other states..... actually we are educating the women to go for a divorce if they are not comfortable with the marriage....a failed marriage is always better than a suicide...... again, different country from yours.... you can choose your partners.... I am currently walking on fire because I am not married at the age of 26, my parents are forcing me to get married and I don't want to...but who cares, every time I face my relatives with fear.....

While I do live in a small village, it is surrounded by several large suburbs that are part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area (with over 3 million people).
Originally I was from a very rural area in southern West Virginia (in a large valley surrounded by tall ridges and mountains). I was raised there by my maternal grandparents.
(My parents divorced and abandoned me there).
They had a very large farm... a really big garden, orchards (even grew grapes for wine), over a dozen honey bee hives, chickens, turkeys, (even a couple of geese), beef cattle, dairy cows, goats, sheep and a couple of horses... (at one point Gramps had four very large Belgian draft horses).
Alas, those days are long gone. The area has become more and more built up...
(I don't even recognize area anymore... so sad).
A very large mountain that was a HUGE sheep ranch on one side and covered with forests and meadows is now a commercial ski resort (when I was a kid, I camped there all the time... except when I was working cause farm work is very hard)

I found your channel today. I’m an American with a Scandinavian heritage. Lately, I have been researching my ancestral roots. My wife also has a Scandinavian heritage. It is rejuvenating to be in touch with who I am and where I come from. It was beautiful to hear of your beginnings with Johan. What a “awesome” couple as they say here to have found each other. I live in Idaho and the winters can be long. I feel tired all the time. I appreciate what you said in one of your previous videos about embracing those feelings instead of fighting them. Even though it is cold I need to get out and enjoy the beauty of the winter. Let the sun hit my face as much as possible. Thank you for the work you do. I have shared your channel with my family.

My boyfriend and I also met via the internet. Also, we were at a point where we actually were done with relationships. And that's exactly where we started writing, I live in Germany, he lived in Switzerland. It was soon clear that we both had fallen in love and today we both live together in Germany and are very happy with each other :)
My husband met on the Internet too. But when we met in 1997 the Internet was new and people thought we were crazypl. We were friends for a year before admitting our feelings. It was not an acceptable thing to meet on the Internet but falling in love was a big no no. He flew 2,500 miles to meet me and we knew. I then flew 2,500 to meet him. Though we lived in the same country the distance seemed insurmountable. People were so negative and told us things would never work out. In 2000 I moved to be with him. In 2001 we were married. There have been ups and downs but we are happy. People were wrong. It did work.

I was in a deep dark depression from past emotional and physical trauma, a depression that i could not seem to get out of.
Your videos have really helped me to get out of that. Darkness, these past couple of days. There is nothing profound or life altering in them. You are simply just showing us the extreme joy that comes from the art of simple daily living,
and yet, that is the most profound joy of all.
It reminds us of how we used to be when we were children. When the simple things brought us joy as much as the big things.
