Worked like magic. Just leased a car a week ago. Got it home and the next morning the windows all looked like a waterspot graveyard. The car was sitting on a lot for months and all windows had water spots. Tried vinegar and didn't help much. I just got the gel in the mail and it got rid of every single waterspot. Great product 👌
Just bought this today despite some people’s bad experiences with this product. It worked for me! Used it on my black gloss finished rims and side of my car. It’s a 2016 mustang metallic grey. The rims took me a while but the hard work paid off. Sprinklers blasted the passenger side rear area of my car and I never knew water spots were a thing until a recent wash would not remove them. Did a lil digging and here I am. LISTEN TO EXACTLY WHAT THIS MAN IS TELLING YOU!!!! Bought both products and everything came out fine. Also, the side of the car job was way easier than the rims.

I have a couple questions, do I need a quick detailing spray in order to use the heavy water spot removal gel? & can I find any of these products at any local stores ?
Hey! Check your local Detail Garage to pick up your favorite detailing products. Use a quick detail spray or clean water to neutralize Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover. www.chemicalguys.com/storelocator?showMap=true&horizontalView=true&isForm=true
I tried yesterday but My car has Been having these water spots for a long time and wasn’t as successful 😞 Is there any other way to apply for severe water spots or different chemicals for this ?
Hi Mando! For stubborn water spot etchings, machine polishing is the most effective method. I recommend using an Orange Hex-Logic Pad and V36 Cutting Polish.
Follow up. I bought the product and saw many reviews about it. Some saying it worked great and others said not at all. So as I'm trying the product im very skeptical. I tried it on three areas. My trunk, a side window (the triangle portion) and a section of the windshield. My trunk has some really big, very very old water spots that were bigger than half dollars. I must say this product worked great on all of the areas I tried. The shine and smoothness. I'm shocked and happy. Great product! 👍👍 two thumbs up. I will be recommending to others.
Just got my bottle of water spot remover! Hoping it works like this!!! Have used CG's products for years but this will be my first time to try this product! Needed for my Ram 2500 and my Rubicon! Both previous owners left them to get water spots!!! UGHHH
I thought this was fake, maybe those were fresh water spots, BUT I was trying to use compound and polish with a buffing machine for 30 minutes and couldn't get them off on my car, then pickED this up at Walmart for $15 , literally came off with one wipe. DEFINITELY WORKS GREAT 😃👍
I go through multiple fleet cars a year as a driver my most recent one I got had terrible water spots on the passenger side after a car wash and one treatment it got rid of about 70% of the water spots I think one more treatment tomorrow should take them off completely but I love this product
Ahhh rewatching this i see my mistake. After watching my GTR in the I did have a few water spots on the boot. So I went to use this stuff for the 1st time. When wiping it off it felt like it was scratching the paint so I stopped and washed it off. I didn't use a quick detailer with it. Will try that next time
I thought chemical guys were just good at marketing their products but I finally caved and bought this water spot remover - I was shocked. It works like literal magic. I will be ordering all their products before too long after this experience. I could not recommend this stuff enough.
I have water stains on my gloss black wheels which I can’t remove. I’ve tried vinegar which someone recommended but still no change . Just purchased the car. How can I remove the stains? Will this product work?
that was great!!! unfortunatley stupid me I remembered to check a video on how to remove water spots from the car, I feel 10 years older lol. but now I know for next time. thanks
Hi Mike! Clean and protect matte and satin finishes with Meticulous Matte Spray Sealant. www.chemicalguys.com/meticulous-matte-detailer/meticulous-matte-detailer.html?gtmListValue=Internal%20Search
I gave it a try, didn't even touch the water and other damage from nature on my hood. I am working my way backwards before having to buff with abrasive compounds. What could I possibly try next, thanks for youir help. Oh, just to mention, it did an awesome job on the glass.
Does this work on old water spots because I tried it today on a vehicle and it did not work I tried it on the windows and it did not work at all. I did what you doing.
My car is ceramic coated but I still have very small and scattered stubborn water spots on the hood and some areas on the doors, can I use this product even if my car is ceramic coated ? Looks like it works great
@@ChemicalGuys the verdict is in &..................it works great! I was very skeptical, at first but I had nothing to lose. I would highly recommend it. I'm, actually, doing it now & had to stop to let you guys know what an awesome product this is. I'm doing a 98 Expedition that has NEVER been stripped or protected in any way. I did have to go over a couple of spots twice but, you don't have to use any effort to make it work. Nice product, guys!
This stuff worked amazing on my clear bra. I tried isopropyl 70%, didn’t work, I tried lacquer thinner and that didn’t work, tried this stuff and it worked so nice!
Water spots on this car wasn't that bad. But this product is a game changer. My water sports on my f150 was 10 out of 10 on horrible. I did actually what was shown in this video and worked amazing !
so i recently used a spray after washing my car which is stored outside and I could see that the spray glossed over the water spots ... will this stuff remove the wax spray finish to get down to the water spots? I had to use abrasive pad with a scouring approach to remove from windows (2017 jeep) and neglected car for about a year. This u been on ongoing problem since I am in a rainy section of Florida with lots of temp changes from hot to cold. Next I will watch your stubborn water spots video. I have used up some of your products and loved them and thanx for this well presented subject!
Im having hard time using this product on my windshield for its contaminated with acid rain! Hope you may help guys? Thanks and i so loved collecting chemguys products!
I enjoyed this demonstration, and it looks easy without much physical exertion. I purchased a 2010 Chevy Impala five months ago in beautiful dark ruby red. But one side of the vehicle has a lot of water stains on the paint and glass that don't come off despite frequent trips to a commercial car wash. The car must have been exposed to a lawn sprinkler for years because the other side is perfect. As the second owner, my concern is that the mineral deposits occurred over eleven years and might be too etched in and not removable. A car detailing service would cost a small fortune. Do you think there's a chance your product will work? I'm a retired lady who would try to do this on my own. It would be discouraging to find it's a lost cause.
Hi Micheline! Thanks so much for tuning in. If the water spots have been left untreated for years it will most likely require machine polishing to remove.
@@ChemicalGuys thank you for a speedy response! I had a feeling that might be the case. I'm still tempted to buy your product and give it a try anyway. It's a challenge I can't resist!

Just got my bottle of water spot remover! Hoping it works like this!!! Have used CG's products for years but this will be my first time to try this product! Needed for my Ram 2500 and my Rubicon! Both previous owners left them to get water spots!!! UGHHH
Enjoy your detailing products!!
Does this work with water spots that have been on windows for a few months or even years I believe?
Yes
If it does not work your last option would be polishing em off
You're gonna love Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover Gel!!
I thought this was fake, maybe those were fresh water spots, BUT I was trying to use compound and polish with a buffing machine for 30 minutes and couldn't get them off on my car, then pickED this up at Walmart for $15 , literally came off with one wipe. DEFINITELY WORKS GREAT 😃👍
Gotta love Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover!
what's a good spray after washing.. like something to spray when drying the car down wiping it down
Hey there! Check out After Wash to aid in the drying process and prevent water spots.
I go through multiple fleet cars a year as a driver my most recent one I got had terrible water spots on the passenger side after a car wash and one treatment it got rid of about 70% of the water spots I think one more treatment tomorrow should take them off completely but I love this product
Enjoy your detailing products!
Dude. This did not fully remove them off my black Nissan. I’m so FRUSTRATED BUYING ALL THESE PRODUCTS😤
Use super fine (000 scale) steel wool, and make sure you use gloves. Then finish using rain x water repellent to prevent water spots.
@@ChatGPT-ri7by can you use the wool on paint?
Ahhh rewatching this i see my mistake. After watching my GTR in the I did have a few water spots on the boot. So I went to use this stuff for the 1st time. When wiping it off it felt like it was scratching the paint so I stopped and washed it off.
I didn't use a quick detailer with it.
Will try that next time
@ChatGPT-ri7by it's almost impossible to get rid of water mark on black car, especially if it was baked in the sun for couple days.
@@ChatGPT-ri7bysteel wool on black car? 😂😂😂😂 TF
Used this tonight on a neighbors black Toyota Avalon and I was completely blown away at how well it worked
Gotta love Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover!!
My car is like that on one side due to sprinklers. I hope your technique works. I’ll let you know.
Happy detailing!!

@@HotFlipHeidiComedy how about now
I thought chemical guys were just good at marketing their products but I finally caved and bought this water spot remover - I was shocked. It works like literal magic. I will be ordering all their products before too long after this experience. I could not recommend this stuff enough.
Enjoy your detailing products!
Is it safe on clearcoat?
Hi! Yes, Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is safe to use on clearcoat.
Just bought some and will be testing it to see if it really works.

Absolutely! It is perfectly fine to wash the vehicle prior to applying Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover.

Can it be used on Ceramic coating without removing the coating? thanks
I gave it a try, didn't even touch the water and other damage from nature on my hood. I am working my way backwards before having to buff with abrasive compounds. What could I possibly try next, thanks for youir help. Oh, just to mention, it did an awesome job on the glass.
OMG thank u for helping me save my new/used vehicle!!! This stuff is amazing!
Happy detailing!!
Are those spots in that car older and stubborn ? If so I’ll try this in my car thx brotha..
If used in a circular motion on glass will it scratch it?
Does this work on old water spots because I tried it today on a vehicle and it did not work I tried it on the windows and it did not work at all. I did what you doing.
Do you use this product after you wash your vehicle or after?
Hey! Wash the vehicle before applying Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover to prevent scratches and marring.
My car is ceramic coated but I still have very small and scattered stubborn water spots on the hood and some areas on the doors, can I use this product even if my car is ceramic coated ? Looks like it works great
I just bought some and will be trying it in the morning. Will it work? Who knows?
You're going to love Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover!
@@ChemicalGuys I will know in a couple of hours.
I am going to try this on my Corolla. Thanks for the tips. I hope it works.
Happy detailing!!
Does this product affect the car painting and the ceramic coating?
Does it work on vinyl wrap?
Any suggests for 22% humidity 90° in the shade? The product dried up on a cool surface of the truck before I could make a single swipe forward.
This stuff worked amazing on my clear bra. I tried isopropyl 70%, didn’t work, I tried lacquer thinner and that didn’t work, tried this stuff and it worked so nice!
Happy detailing!!!
I'll have to try this. Think I'm overdue for a polish since I've only been waxing for many years but still want this for later.
Enjoy your detailing products!!
Water spots on this car wasn't that bad. But this product is a game changer. My water sports on my f150 was 10 out of 10 on horrible. I did actually what was shown in this video and worked amazing !
Hey Aaron, thanks so much for the incredible feedback!
so i recently used a spray after washing my car which is stored outside and I could see that the spray glossed over the water spots ... will this stuff remove the wax spray finish to get down to the water spots? I had to use abrasive pad with a scouring approach to remove from windows (2017 jeep) and neglected car for about a year. This u been on ongoing problem since I am in a rainy section of Florida with lots of temp changes from hot to cold. Next I will watch your stubborn water spots video. I have used up some of your products and loved them and thanx for this well presented subject!
Im having hard time using this product on my windshield for its contaminated with acid rain! Hope you may help guys? Thanks and i so loved collecting chemguys products!
Hey! A clay bar or machine polishing may be necessary for stubborn water spot stains.
do i have to reapply new wax after using this product?
I can't clean my car in a garage, so can this be applied outdoors in my driveway? How often does it need to be reapplied? After each wash?
