There are forces on Earth that apparently can't be reasoned with, as your alter-ego Emma points out every day, but that's no reason to stop trying. You go, girl!
I absolutely adore Laura Reed, she has so much Lower Decks vibe to her and shows wonderfully that the humor concept of that series - e.g. geeking out when they get to visit the flagship - can work very well in a live action setting as well 😍 Two points of criticism however: 1. Can it be that Laura's scaling isn't quite right when she enters the bridge if the Enterprise? Cause it feels quite a bit off compared to the series... 2. I know animation is a challenging job, but even though it was blurred it felt rather weird that the Ferengi's lips didn't move. It essentially broke the immersion of the episode... Other than that I loved it, especially as Prodigy got a brush with the neutral zone last week as well 😁 - haven't seen this week's yet so can't comment there 😅
Personal initiative has been highly prized by Starfleet since the days of Captain Pike of the USS Enterprise; you will have your own command before you know it, Ensign Reed.

@@SGUDistantHope I enjoyed Ensign Laura Reed and the scene with the Ferengi and the bridge of the Enterprise D
Wow... first class that story and the young lady are just great. Her acting skill and story telling was so natural.
Please would love to see more Ambassador class stories, I just love that vessel
An absolute pleasure! Thank you for all of your hard work. It is appreciated.
I wouldn't trust that Ferengi as far as I could throw him... 🤣
I like the fact she is a descendents of malcom reed as in enterprise he was worried he would not have any offspring. Great video
Love the continuous tale of the little ensign. Keep doin wat ya do.
This is showing a lot of production value. The CGI shots, the documentary/recreated dramatization scenes, the music, ya’ll are getting a lot of value out of this.
One nitpick: 7:00 What are the two sitting at the table doing? Ya’ll have been hit by multiple disruptor blasts! Don’t you have stations to get to?
She's a star!
She is Warren, it takes talent to almost single headedly carry a whole film but she does! Really great performance! is there any particular moment/scene you enjoyed? We really wanna know what people think!

There are forces on Earth that apparently can't be reasoned with, as your alter-ego Emma points out every day, but that's no reason to stop trying. You go, girl!
I absolutely adore Laura Reed, she has so much Lower Decks vibe to her and shows wonderfully that the humor concept of that series - e.g. geeking out when they get to visit the flagship - can work very well in a live action setting as well 😍
Two points of criticism however:
Finally was able to sit down and watch this one. Samuel and his team are really making some special fan films. So glad I could contribute.
Great fan film! Honestly one of the best. I really like this new series you all are working on. Samuel and everyone did a great job on the cut scenes.
Very cool episode. Love that she's related to Malcolm Reed.
I can see great potential for Laura! :D
I love this type of fan film, one of my favorites so far
I like the way when the characters perform to do this
Great quality to do this fan film
And the production
Whoever did this is to be congratulated
It deserves a lot
Thank you, Commander Cockings
Very good thanks!
Thanks so much! Very kind of you to say! is there any particular moment/scene you enjoyed? We really wanna know what people think!

@@SGUDistantHope Great acting, casting was perfect, battle scenes were great, overall great story! By the way, do you ever accept scripts from outside your group? I would be interested in writing for you. Thanks and have a great holiday!
This was really good. Had a tremendous amount of professionalism and fun. Want to see more of Ensign Reed soon.
Awesome, can't wait to see more. Well done Power543 Fan Films
I'm just catching up on these films and I think that it's a tragedy that more people from "fan films" aren't picked up by the producers of the official series as the talent and passion is so obviously here.
From one trekkie to another really good job. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hats off.
Interesting choice in Ship's name considering the history of that name.
Well written and done.
Would love to see more short videos like this, would love to see more of the Laura Reed character as well.
Nice Doctor Who nod "Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow".
Emma's certainly the cutest Starfleet officer I've ever seen 😁
This made me want to rewatch star trek great work
An interesting angle for a fan film that I've not come across before, so 10/10 for originality. :-) I love all the name dropping going on! LOL!
great show. 1 woman tour-de-force! Small typo in credits on Engisn.
Thanks so much, Emma does amazing!! is there any particular moment/scene you enjoyed? We really wanna know what people think! And boo...even tho i checked...always something you miss!

Very well done , very logical in layout and substance , unlike some fan movies made sense threw out bravo
Oh, ouch... whoever was in charge of proofreading missed the misspelling of Ensign in the credits. That was a pretty painful ending to mar such a good story. 😢
There should be a daily log about daily random stuff from Reed.
So get on it matey it will be a hit .
Really. Light a fire under it we want more of this from Reed. A diary .
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Dave.
Every day is poppy day
Brilliant! Well done on this short! I must call this professional quality. Cheers to you all! LL&P!
WELL PLAYED INDEED!!
Ensign was GEEKING OUT!
Well YOU & what-THE 10 maybe 12 people who made this?!(not including all the funders & like-but YOUR ACTING ENSIGN WAS TOTALLY NATURAL! NOT A SINGLE NANO SECOND SAID OTHERWISE! A VISUALLY SOLO PERFORMANCE! & SHIP FILMING!! It was like watching a regular series!! FANTASTIC Job EVERYBODY!! ..(never seen That many Romulan ships-I've read they are 2miles long! MILES!! That's Bigger than the SDF BATTLECRUISER!! & PICARDS NAME IN IT LINKING TO WHAT WE KNOW NOT TO MENTION PICARDS FIRST COMMAND THE STARGAZER (type ship) different name-REALLY PROFESSIONAL JOB‼️‼️🖖
Very well done. Thank you! 😀
