HELLO IT IS I, someone who very much loves historical fashion and style but is too chaotic of a person to achieve it. AH WELL it's never stopped me from trying hehehehe. So here we are, and this week the era of my admiration is the Rococo era. Big, big hair and beauty patches BAY-BEE. I got this 18th century inspired gown a while ago and it's just been patiently waiting for me to wear it so I figured why not make a whole darn video about it lol.

The fact that this is just normal for Nick to eat dinner with Rachel resting a large wig ball on her head is my favorite thing ever.
You know how there was that “what century is your face from” trend? When you were in the field looking absently at a flower, you looked SO PERFECTLY 1700s royalty. Like, “I am obviously too wealthy to be sitting out here in this sunlight with you PEASANTS.” I loved it.

I watch a good amount of historical fashion videos, so when she was doing her hair, I felt like there was something off but couldn't really place it. It was about when Rachel said "...I'm wondering if [the hairpiece matching] really matters when we start adding the hair powder" that I suddenly remembered that you are supposed to powder your hair BEFORE you style it. On the other hand, dry shampoo is basically the same thing, so close enough I suppose! XD
Can we stop and take a minute to acknowledge that Rachel has somehow never seen The Nanny?! Rachel, I think it is time to stop and immediately start watching! I mean, The hair! The fashion! The voice! But beyond Fran, the show is a true and utter delight, plus wonderful '90s nostalgia.
The rococo ghost of past carrying a coke zero had me laughing. Kept replaying that part over and over. Love it!
