This is some info about 나얼(Naul)
* some Information about 나얼(Naul)
1. In the past, 나얼(Naul) & 3 men who are acquainted with him formed a four-member group ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '.
And they took part in the ' SBS New Generation Song Contest ' and won the grand prize.
After that, they made their official debut under the group name ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
He(나얼) debuted in 1999 as a quartet(4 men group) ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
Since then, ' 나얼(Naul) ' has received much attention from various broadcasting and music officials.
But they released only 1 album, and then the group was disbanded.
So music officials competed to recruit him after the breakup of the group ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
Among them, ' 윤건(Yoon Gun) ' had quickly recruited ' 나얼(Naul) ' to form new group.
the new group they formed is ' 브라운 아이즈 (Brown Eyes) '.
2. He made his debut again duo group ' 브라운 아이즈(Brown Eyes) ' in 2001
' 브라운 아이즈(Brown Eyes) ' is so amazing group that first released medium tempo music in Korea in the early 2000s, changing the landscape of the music industry at that time and later.
They(Brown Eyes) released their 1st album in 2001, called ' Brown Eyes ' this album was amazing big hit.
In particular, the album's title ' 벌써일년 (Already one Year) '
topped the music charts for 21 weeks.
In 2002, They(Brown Eyes) were acted as the representative singer of the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.
and then they released their 2nd album and made a big hit again, but after that they were split out temporarily.
The reason they split up is the differences in the genre of music they intend to pursue.
3. And after then 나얼(Naul) & 3 other men(정엽, 성훈, 영준) formed another group consist of 4 members ' 브라운 아이드 소울 (Brown Eyed Soul) ' to do the music he(나얼) wanted.
BES released their's 1st album in 2003, they were also in the spotlight as soon as they made their debut.
They(BES) have released 4 Regular Albums so far, and their music charts have been high and they have been consistently popular with people.
BES has been good working since their debut.
4. 나얼(Naul) is also has been good working with his personal album release.
He has released 1 Remake Album(in 2005) , 2 Regular Albums(1st in 2012, 2nd in 2018) , Several Single Albums,
Several Participating Albums(with other musicians) etc.. so far.
Among them, not a few songs topped the music charts.
In addition He has received rave reviews from R&B,Soul musicians abroad.
* Additional Information about ' 브라운 아이즈(Brown Eyes) '
After Brown Eyes's temporary breakup in 2002, ' 윤건(Yoon gun) ' continued his solo career.
But in 2008, he(윤건) and ' 나얼(Naul) ' got together again and release their 3rd album unexpectedly.
The album was also big hit.
Afterwards, they returned to their respective activities.
I think there are many good songs on BE(Brown Eyes) & BES(Brown Eyed Soul) & Naul , etc.. albums.
So, I'd like to recommend you many albums about them. ^^

if you think naul is great now, you should listen to brown eyed soul. He used to be a part of a 4 man group. I recommend the song brown eyed girl as naul particularly has a great solo part in it.

뮤직비디오도 그렇지만 트럼펫 소리가 분위기를 완전완전 만드는듯. 물먹은 약간은 쌀쌀한 새벽느낌나는 밤느낌. 쓸쓸한듯 다정한듯 가슴이 아린듯 후련한듯 그런느낌. 너무좋음.

린지가 얘기한 직설적인 변조란걸 가장 잘 표현한 곡이 과거 에릭베넷 후기 앨범인 로스트인타임 의 동명의 곡인 로스트인타임 이란 곡이 있어요 추천! 곡 느낌도 살짝 비슷합니다 당시 저 직설적 변조를 듣자마자 저도 이 곡이 생각났다는,,
생각해보니까 오히려 미국에도 이런 예전 소울 훵크 음악을 세련되고 기교 넘치게 하는 아티스트가 없어서, 마이너 씬에서는 꽤 인기 있을 것 같네요. 북미에서 마케팅 해보면 어떨지 궁금해요 ㅎㅎ
저도 공감이에요 나얼 플레이리스트에 있는 70s 음악들 저도 정말 좋아하는데 현재 미국에서도 이어받는 가수들이 거의 안나오는거 같아요 돈이 안되니 어찌보면 당연한거지만..
그럼 미국 장년층 40대에서 60대분들이 좋아함. 미국도 rnb트렌드가 계속바뀌어서 저런 스타일의 보컬과 음악이 사라졌으니 향수로 좋아할듯
미국에 없는게 아니라 저런 기교 자체를 할수있는 축복받은 가수가 몇없음. 저건 그냥 연습한다고 나올수있는 기교가 아님.

My favorite Naul song is One's Way Back, I just can't get enough of his naturally melismatic voice.
Just watching this after x years being to YT. Pls do more solo artists, IMO idol groups eventually get repetitive since most follow trends (maybe except for those that have luckily survived the initial 7yrs contract, those groups are more comfortable enough to dabble, discover and develop their sound). Naul is just one of the many great Korean artists that need to be discovered by more people. And maybe consider "live" performances as well, because stage collabs can slip through the cracks.
Requesting for a reaction to CL's Alpha Live Performance video, it's features a few songs off her album since leaving YG.

I'm a big Naul fan and would love for you guys to react to many of his songs, you guys will love it. Especially his group called Brown Eyed Soul, they have the best harmony together. FINALLY NAUL!!! and im crying with much joy! you guys HAVE to do more of his music (and brown eyed soul aka bes, a quartet he is a part of, and browned eyes too, which was a duo but no longer active). there are so so so many good ones including lots of live clips (you WILL fall in love with him even more when you hear & watch him perform). i have so much to say but cant gather my thoughts & coherently jot them down at the moment haha. but i will say, as far as i know, hes not had any vocal training, but he did listen to a lot of r&b growing up and practiced on his own for hours a day. claims he is not a great singer (WHAT!), but is passionate about music (especially r&b). his inspiration comes from black history, the gospel (music & the word), the bible (he is a very faithful & devout CHRISTian) etc., loves the oldies, collects LPs (has a collection of 2000+), you get the idea. he is also an artist, who has had several exhibitions under his name (with another one happening presently), and has said that for him, being an artist is his true profession, and being a singer is more of a hobby (says a man who has multiple albums under his belt and writes & produces all his music, and is regarded as perhaps the greatest vocalist to hail from korea - an HE IS. i may be biased but im also right haha). THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS REACTION!!!
fun fact: the actress in the video (shin hye sun) is a big name in korea now, but when she was yet a superstar, she was a guest on a radio show and expressed her love for naul, and mentioned that she would love to be in his mv even without pay, and this happened i think about 3 years later.
i started getting into naul because of this reaction!!! ahhh his voice is so amazing esp in gloria which i hugely recommend they react to if possible. love your videos so much cause they remind me to listen more intently to my music and figure out what is being put into the song!!!

1. In the past, 나얼(Naul) & 3 men who are acquainted with him formed a four-member group ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '.
And they took part in the ' SBS New Generation Song Contest ' and won the grand prize.
After that, they made their official debut under the group name ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
He(나얼) debuted in 1999 as a quartet(4 men group) ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
Since then, ' 나얼(Naul) ' has received much attention from various broadcasting and music officials.
But they released only 1 album, and then the group was disbanded.
So music officials competed to recruit him after the breakup of the group ' 앤썸 (Anthem) '
Among them, ' 윤건(Yoon Gun) ' had quickly recruited ' 나얼(Naul) ' to form new group.
the new group they formed is ' 브라운 아이즈 (Brown Eyes) '.
2. He made his debut again duo group ' 브라운 아이즈(Brown Eyes) ' in 2001
' 브라운 아이즈(Brown Eyes) ' is so amazing group that first released medium tempo music in Korea in the early 2000s, changing the landscape of the music industry at that time and later.
They(Brown Eyes) released their 1st album in 2001, called ' Brown Eyes ' this album was amazing big hit.
In particular, the album's title ' 벌써일년 (Already one Year) '
topped the music charts for 21 weeks.
In 2002, They(Brown Eyes) were acted as the representative singer of the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

BES released their's 1st album in 2003, they were also in the spotlight as soon as they made their debut.
They(BES) have released 4 Regular Albums so far, and their music charts have been high and they have been consistently popular with people.
BES has been good working since their debut.
4. 나얼(Naul) is also has been good working with his personal album release.
He has released 1 Remake Album(in 2005) , 2 Regular Albums(1st in 2012, 2nd in 2018) , Several Single Albums,
Several Participating Albums(with other musicians) etc.. so far.
Among them, not a few songs topped the music charts.
In addition He has received rave reviews from R&B,Soul musicians abroad.

After Brown Eyes's temporary breakup in 2002, ' 윤건(Yoon gun) ' continued his solo career.
But in 2008, he(윤건) and ' 나얼(Naul) ' got together again and release their 3rd album unexpectedly.
The album was also big hit.
Afterwards, they returned to their respective activities.
