I have the Voyager 5200 and the 3200 and they both work very well. The 5200 is better in windy conditions but I've been using these two for the last 3+ years. Previously I had both the Voyager Legend and the Edge.
Cool! I just replaced the one I run the test to the new Voyager 5200! Couldn't find anything better on the market these days. I scanned the market again before the change and ended up with the same headset!
That does sound a lot better than what i heard in previous videos. Was it just because of HD mode? How do you ensure that HD mode is on? Is it not on by default?
HD mode was enabled on both ends and I was on LTE so channel was HD. Additionally in the settings you can choose to set the headset mode on HD or low quality signal
All depends for what you are using it. Blue Parrot are excellent - unbeatable for trucks or open air driving but for my daily business I would look like a stranger I guess:-) Any particular model you have in mind? Maybe they have something I need now?
I use a Jabra Evolve 75e for a neckband headset. I'm disappointed with the battery life. Nowhere near the call clarity of the plantronics 5200, but I have a preference for stereo in ear buds with a neckband. I was a great fan of the LG HBS A80 for battery life, music sound, comfort, water resistance....but call quality is lacking. Jabra 75e was the compromise. I don't care for over head headsets, but if I did, I would get a Blue Parrot 550-XT.
@@696969bold I have the blueparrott S-450 (dual earmuffs) and it is GREAT for loud environment and it is excellent noise cancellation too. One thing I thought was odd the S-450 noise cancelling 82% but the non stereo 450xt cancels at 95%. I have ordered the bluerparrott VXI point and the Expressway 2. they are both smaller and much lower price point and supposedly a high % noise cancelling than my s450 at 90% and 92%. so it will be interesting how they work once I get them.
Hi there. Could you please tell me what is the car model you are driving? I believe different car models have different hands free modules installed... I am observing that from my Landcruiser sound quality is worse comparing to my BMW 7 series... This can be the case... However, PLT 5200 is an amazing, I agree, little bulky though

Hey man. Thanks. Your video helped me to make my decision. I just bought a headset by plantronics from amazon. I'm thrilled with it.
Hi Bret, how it works for you?

I have the Plantronics 5200 UC. Will this product durable enough to last for years,? (of course, with care)
@@mattsimon8352 The one from video I was using more than 2 years. Replaced with new one in January 2020
Quick and simple thank you!

Second best call quality headset. Compact, good battery life, durable. Blue Parrot is number one if you dont mind over the head.
