Thanks Mr. Rosas. I spent 30 min on the poly site trying to get my Voyagers connected to my phone. I find your channel and was able to successfully pair my headset in two minutes. Thanks so much👍🏽
Hihi, Is it common that the voice command be not working when u press the call button when you activate the audio streaming function? Thanks for yr help in advance. Cheers
I just received my third 5200. That's about all that can go wrong with them I find - losing it! I've had a 5200 for about 8 years? I migrated from a different Legend - and their (Poly) product support is phenomenal. This is a great review; the best I've seen. Question - do you know how to make the 5200 work as a "Trusted Device" on a Pixel 4XL?? I used to have a Pixel 3 and it would do it - but on this P4XL - I cannot find it. That makes this a great combination - leave your phone on charge and be up to 15 M from it - and still get text alerts and phone calls. I guess that's why I keep going back to the 5200. The Best, single ear earpiece out there. Excellent review. Subbed, liked and a comment for the algo.

I recently got this ansmd i an disapointed. It always disconnects and reconnects during calls. This happens all the time and i know several people experiencing the same thing . Do you have any insights?
Thanks you Mr. Rosas, I tried going to the poly site and could not figure things out. I find your channel and was able to get my headset paired two minutes 👍🏽
It looks like the Tile app is missing from the Poly Lens app. Luckily, I already had it enabled from the Plantronics Hub before they got rid of it, but that is disappointing.
We are planning on coming out with a new video on the new mobile app Poly Lens. I suspect that with the HP acquisition we should see even more changes. Thanks for chiming in👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌
Put the 5200 into pairing mode first , have the Bluetooth on your iphone searching for the 5200, then launch the Plantronics app on your mobile. It should find it once the 5200 is in pairing mode. Try that that first before we go to other suggestions.
It find the Poly 5200 and connects than I open the hub and it ask if I what to allow the deivce to communicate iwth hub. I allow and it still says not connected in red under the Voyager 5200 series name@@WhatTheTeckShow It
Thanks so much this was very helpful! Do you have a recommendation for better tips for the 5220? I just bought it a few months ago and I get so many complaints that people can't hear me and I read that it could be the tips
There are not a lot of options here when it comes to the ear tips. A few places sell some aftermarket tips but I think you're going to run into the same problem. All of them are manufactured in a similar fashion with similar materials and in the same form factor.
I am sorry to hear that your are unable to locate your headset. In this situation you are going to be play the role of Inspector Gadget. Since the headset is not powered "on" the Poly Lens software will not be able to ping the Poly headset. I wish I had better new for you. Thanks for checking us out and if you have other questions let us know.!
Is there a way to connect a poly 7220 savi headset to the computer so settings can be configured on poly lens...not sure if it will work with a Bluetooth adapter and I don't want to waste money if someone else knows 😂 thanks 🙏
Toeleg, The Poly 7220 Wireless Headset will only work with Desk phones. It does not the capability to work with mobile devices nor any Bluetooth devices. A Bluetooth adapter will not work with this model either. Wish I had better news but I can give you an alternative that is similar AND has Bluetooth capabilities. The Poly Voyager 4220 is the Bluetooth version that can work with a Bluetooth phone as well as with a Bluetooth Dongle so that you can use it with a laptop or computer.
Larry, 🎧 Both the Plantronics Voyager 5200 UC as well as the 5200 have wideband capability. This is something that could be toggled on via the Plantronics mobile app. Thanks for watching. 👍👍👍👍
DONT BUY POLY / Plantronics ANYMORE! IT'S A BLANTANT LIE. The PLT HUB app doesn't support the poly 520p series and hasnt really been updated for over a year. HP screwed up computers, polycomm screwed up video conferencing, and now Poly doesn't respond to support requests, and is apparently dumping the once great 5200 series. It no doesnt show in the app and poly isnt updating
We have not yet found that the 5200 is being discontinued. We certainly can test the PLT Hub app and see if we are find the same thing. Additionally, Poly release a newer hardware version at the beginning of 2023 and the charging case and bluetooth dongle have been upgraded for the Voyager 5200 UC.
It is EXTREMELY deceptive to sell this very expensive item, which includes a CHARGING CABLE... that is USELESS! The charging cable included, does NOT attach to the device, and there is no way to charge the device - which is astonishing. Instead, you have to buy a separate charging case - which is proprietary - and is the only thing that will charge the device. Why isn't that case included with the device? Why do they include a useless charging cable? I will tell you why. The charging cable included gives the buyer the idea that they can charge their Plantronics Voyager 5200 with it, when in fact, you can NOT! The charging case is an additional $20.
John, My friend, let me help you and all other folks who share your sentiment and frustration. First let's sort our some facts. 1. Plantronics sells the *Voyager in 2 versions* (Voyager 5200 and Voyager 5200 UC). Exception is the older Voyager Legend which came with a specialized cable that was required. Those are no longer around but still floating around shops on Ebay. 2. *If you purchased the Voyager 5200* it ONLY includes a USB charging cable. The Voyager 5200 UC (which includes the travel charging case and USB dongle) is more expensive. If you purchased the Voyager 5200 you will need to use a charging brick with a USB interface which you can easily get at any local retailer for around $10 USD. 3. *You can still charge both Voyager 5200 and 5200 UC* the same exact way with that charging cable. On the bottom of the both is a tiny rubber flap which you can wiggle out and it will reveal the charging interface for the headset. This interface is like a mini USB interface common to most older Android phones...nothing proprietary about that. 4. *All of the headset manufacturers* have already eliminated power supply charging bricks and made this an optional accessory. Other manufacturers have done the same with many electronic devices. Two reasons for this is cost AND for large multination companies that ship their electronics into various countries it avoids additional costs of ongoing certifications required by each country to comply with electronic standards (ie U.L, E.U., etc) Hopefully that helps John. Let us know if we can be of further support. 🙌
Very good video. Question, are they no longer issuing foams to attach to the ear inserts?
Thanks Mr. Rosas. I spent 30 min on the poly site trying to get my Voyagers connected to my phone. I find your channel and was able to successfully pair my headset in two minutes. Thanks so much👍🏽

Is there any way to disable the low battery voice warnings?? They start too early and repeat too many times!

Are you talking about the silicone ear gels that go in your ear?
£$9 buys spare tips and foam covers, which might help?
... but why would ear-tips affect the Mic side?
Yes, assuming they are silicone. The ones that come with it don't fit very well and I am looking for a recommendation to replace them

Will this work with sennheiser BT 800 ?
The Plantronics 5200 UC will work best with only Plantronics or Poly branded bluetooth USB Dongles.
How do i charge it
You can charge the headset directly with an older style USB cable or putting it into the Plantronics 5200 charging case which will also recharge it
Such a help!
