    NICE! I wonder if D5 will ever add ground sculping tools? I have the pro version and LOVE IT! One of the best for sure, and easiest to use render engines. Having ground sculpting would bring it into the Twinmotion territory.

      Yes, you're absolutely right. Lumion has that feature too. I hope they make it happen soon! 🤞

    Great tutorial, thanks.. I think d5 is easier & gives better results than Twinmotion at the moment, especially on interiors. Would you agree?

      Thank you Neil. I haven't tried twinmotion yet, but as far as I can see from the renderings and animation results of D5 is better in my humble opinion. 🙂

    Very nice. Although I'm abit reluctant in getting it as I just got lumion 12 and I've being using lumion for years now. One thing I need to know. What is the major difference between the pro and the free version?. Thanks

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  Год назад

      There free version is good enough to do renderings, but you need the pro version to access more assets. 🙂

    Really really beautiful scene! How much time took it to render the final video with your rtx 3070?

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  2 года назад +2

      Thank you, Carolina. I can’t exactly remember the exact minutes, but it was not that of a long wait for a 10-second animation. If I have to put a number, I would have to say, less than 15 minutes or so. 🙂

    Awesome! D5 is amazing. Can you share specs of your workstation? I’m using a laptop with a 3070 and debating getting a desktop workstation as well to run batch renders from D5.

      Yes it is amazing! I am using a laptop as well. The Asus ROG Scar Strix 15 (same rtx 3070)

      @@silvercoloredlens Thank you! I don’t think I can justify another workstation until I have more clients and GPU prices normalize. I love your work! I use Chief Architect, Sketchup, Enscape and D5. Trying to get a workflow dialed in and have found Enscape to be excellent for interior panoramas and tours and D5 is unbeatable for exterior. Keep up the great work!

      Thanks Mariana! Yes, this is a tutorial that shows you the entire process of importing 3d models from sketchup into D5 render, applying materials, setting up the scene for the simple animation (assets and camera movement). 🙂

    Very cool. But I don't like the bird. Like a wooden one. And I didn't understand why the boat was set up if it was far away somewhere out there and in the fog.

    Hi, how much vram do you recommend to make a scene with so many trees like that? Thank you

  • @UnrealVisualStudio

    hi dear can we use the scattered area larger than 25 km and how?. thanks

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  Год назад +1

      Hey, I am not sure if my laptop can handle that huge number of instances, to be honest. And I don't want to risk it. 😅
      So far, I was only able to do a 1km diameter range for scatter. But I would suggest a better and efficient way is to make an environment map and apply it to a cylinder to serve as your background. If it is a fly through animation, maybe you can render by phases and splice it together in one as a final result. This way, you are minimizing the risk of error and allows you to amend any minor issues part by part along the way. I hope that helps. 🙂

      Conifer > Metasequoia glyptostroboides
      Broadleaf > White birch 02
      Broadleaf > Sapium sebiferum 02
      Broadleaf > Gleditsia sinensis

      @@silvercoloredlens cheers just wondering you have the 64gb ram in it, really need to update , if so does it make a difference

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  2 года назад

      @kevin mcnamara I only have 32gb of ram. It still works great, considering it doesn't maximize the ram when I'm rendering, but if you want to do some multi-tasking while it's rendering, you can opt for a 64gb of ram.
