I find it extremely difficult to believe that these women were not taught birth control methods when they were younger. We learnt about that stuff when at 12 13 and I went to an ok public school. Some kids are just ignorant and don’t care because they wanna be rebellious until it’s too late

I had a friend who learned sex ed in NJ, moved to Kentucky and there was no sex ed in her school. Only abstinence was taught and there were a ton of teen pregnancies
There can be some parents who don’t want to teach their kids about sex or talk about it. So they either find out on their own or learn the hard way which is getting pregnant. Honestly it is sad seeing them get a baby so young when it’s the time to learn more about yourself & experience life a bit more to the fullest

As a kid with a mom who had me at 20, it is a weird situation, I feel like me and my mom kinda grew up together. It’s definitely different seeing how me and her interacted and how she interacts with my younger sibling.
I was taught by my nana about all that and I would say I’m an old soul, I just knew from young that it was a no for me . even hearing people have sex young I’m like whaaaa. I’m very glad for my nana and education she gave me!

They don't. Keep testing them and you find out, it's a numbers game.
It’s true. On a practical level condoms don’t work all of the time. And a lot of times they’re not even used properly so that increases the chance even more to become pregnant. If used perfectly there’s still a 2% chance. That may not seem like a lot but it can still happen.
I'm 16 and couldn't even imagine having sex. There are just some thing's you should wait till your an adult to do and in my opinion sex is definitely one of those things. When I was in 5 grade I heard about people my age at the time having sex and today one of my cousins friends was talking about having sex in the 3rd grade.

I'm of the opinion that if you teach kids/teens about what sex is they will start earlier in life, just look at how sex between teens and teen pregnancies has increased since sex ed where introduced in school.

Yeah no. The 14 YO girl even said that in Texas they teach “abstinence abstinence abstinence” yet she chose (at a very young age) to give herself away in that way. It’s definitely not the parents fault, even when parents are strict as hell those kids are the ones to do the most sneakiest things. Don’t blame the parents, blame the child that decided to have their legs wide open/balls fully loaded.
yes it is (usually) the child’s decision to make that choice, but should they find themselves in that situation, they can be more equipped and prepared if they were taught about contraception and the tools to help them prevent pregnancy

I'd say it's the parents' faults, not only because they failed to teach their kids about this kind of thing. But parents that are too restrictive, or like for example Molly Mormon type parents, strict curfew, no going out with friends, no this no that, no int.course, no x music, no swearing, all that.. It either turns the kid into this sheltered weirdo creep who doesn't know how to behave or act natural around the opposite gender, or they get very VERY rebellious and go like emo/scene/goth/hard rock and roll/metal, doin stuff like this, like... You lock up a bottle of coke with mentos and shake it, it's gonna explode even more when it's opened. Half of parents turn their kids into the thing they were trying to prevent from happening. Yeah this kind of thing, becoming emo, goth, whatever, can still happen due to any number of events or maybe it's just as simple as it's their personality, maybe their parents are that way because of the restrictiveness. But that's something that's gonna happen when they don't let their kids roam free at all, and most of them will always only blame their kids, never themselves.
You may find it hard to believe but there are parents out there who have never seen an x toy, or think they're still v-words despite giving birth... The molly mormon usually. Very sheltered, like I said. And they don't believe in discussing mature topics with their kids even though it would be beneficial and preventative of instances like teen preg.
