I recently received one of these as a gift. It works, but it runs very slowly and not in a smooth motion like shown here. Are there any common mistakes/problems I should look for while I troubleshoot and try to get it to work properly?
Could be adapted, I use cone thread on my sewing machine to fill spools,no problem, I use an empty pen biro tube placed over the small cotton reel holder,be gentle with foot pedal when winding on spool,l place my finger on top of cone and biro to steady when winding on spool, simples,works for me,👍

Wow annoying I bought this and was confused by the instructions for use. It says pass end of thread through hole in bobbin, insert bobbin onto bobbin winding shaft. Well which bobbin hole… wasn’t even clear in the video. She blocked it with her hands. I tried to repeat this video and slow it down and zoom in but no luck. Going to have to return this now. Make better videos singer.

Does it works with the cone thread?
It only works with Class 15 and 15J bobbins. ❤️
