you guys should definitely do a part 2!! i love seeing everything come together so beautifully for your baby💗every looks so cute and i just love the cuteness and how tiny her clothes are!
You will want to have a side cart next to your bed. It makes night feedings and diaper changes so much easier! You can put diapers, wipes, creams, change of clothes, extra blankets and swaddles, etc
Use the cute pink cart to put daily items in such as the wipes, diapers, diaper cream when needed. That way you can have it all in one place and wheel it around from room to room. You can have it by your bed at night as well so everything is right there and easy to get to. I saw it on another youtube channel. The momma said it was super helpful
She probably will put diapers and wipes in her nightstand and you don’t need to put diaper cream on their butts every diaper change you only need diaper cream if they have a diaper rash cause their daughter will be pooping tar like poop the first 24 hours and the diaper cream will just make it harder to clean her bottom
it was only a suggestion. Also, they will know what to do for their baby. Mind your own business. You don't have to be rude and negative. I've seen you post on every other comment on here. You sound like a f'ing stalker. Why are you talking about a strangers newborn childs poop? You don't know them personally! If I were them I'd be afraid of you.
I am a FTM! ( my bub is 6.5 months old) -- I recommend having a storage container with nightly essentials Nappies, Nappy rash cream , wipes, spare swaddles, a spare outfit/singlet and a spit up cloth etc And put this somewhere in your bedroom close by! So when you’re up a lot during the night you have easy access to some things you’ll need! Rather than walking to the nursery 10x a night I found that really worked !
Put the wipes upside down in the bins!! It helps keep them moist. Also the pampers sensitive wipes and pampers swaddlers worked best for my baby but like you said every baby is different!! 💗💗
Katie i love how you and josh just love staying in nursey I literally love you guys soo much you guys will be the best girl parents baby girl feels so loved already 😢🥹💞💖
You two are by far my favorite RUclipsrs and watching your videos make my days better. Keep doing what you do and working hard and I can’t wait for baby Brockalina! The nursery looks great and I think the crib looks better without the headboard ! 💕❤️
That’s you tho they want her in a bassinet in their room it reduces the risk of SIDS if they baby is with parents cause I guarantee you she wouldn’t wanna have to walk all the way to the nursery when she’s recovering from delivery! To feed their daughter and change her and walk back to Josh when she’s in pain
@@sarahloyd7276 why are you popping off on literally everyone who makes a suggestion 🤣 like girl, they’re all just SUGGESTIONS. Katie literally asked for suggestions. You are coming off as hella stalker-ish 🤣 is this all you do for a living…. Comment shit on people’s recommendations…??
You can definitely put a baby to sleep in any size crib as long as there’s no loose blankets or dangers! I think a lot of people just wait for the crib sleeping because new borns feel more secure in smaller spaces !
That’s not just it it’s easier for the mom to take care of the baby if the baby is in the parents room in a bassinet it’s easier to feed her and change her without having to walk across the house while Katie is bleeding and in pain after they’ve been home from her giving birth
Usually at first when babies are first born you will use a bassinet for them in your room while they wake up more often for feedings in the beginning then transition them to their crib after a couple months or whenever you feel ready to do so... yall will be such amazing parents! ❤I can't wait!
Newborns usually sleep in a bassinet so you’ll definitely need to buy one for your room that you can put next to your bed. It’s recommended for babies to sleep in a bassinet for up to 3-5 months and then transition to a crib💕Amazon has a lot of great ones!
Aww, baby girls room is cozy, comfy and just precious💕 Love how you organize! I’m an organizer too, and you have given me so many unique ideas! Excited to see the completed nursery reveal! Much love to your soon to be family of 4 🤍🤍💕🐶
First you need a bassinet to put in your room while the babies super young this way you can make sure they don’t choke. Or don’t need anything it helps also helps prevent SIDS.
You guys please need to remember to do some research on sleep safety for the baby, because I've seen stories about babies dying in their sleep because of extra stuff in the crib. That includes toys, teddies, blankets and pillows. There could be more, though im not entirely sure, just please check sleeping safety for babies too🙏 Very excited to see the little girl, and best of luck to you guys, you will be amazing parents
Being an aunt to 11 kids so far i have realised that my siblings loved the brand dove baby for the lotion and and bath stuff. Also my mom always had a bed protector for the baby bed for when the baby started sleeping in the crib.... protector for blowouts and puke
She ordered one on amazon she will put it on when baby starts sleeping in there but when she does they will make sure to burp her so she won’t puke cause when they are laying on their back they can choke in their sleep
I never thought this video would come since I’ve been here since they were sitting on Kati’s bed in her old house now they’re on their own having a kid wow Katie and Josh I love y’all so much
i love the pamper aqua pure wipes for changing diapers and the water wipes for cleaning the face and hands when they’re a little older. and the pamper swaddlers diapers
Definitely need to get a bassinet that you can have next to your bed in the early weeks/months. I know when my son was born we found a pack-n-play that had a divider for the top part that had a bassinet and then when he got a little older he had the play pen. It was such a saving Grace and I didn’t have to go far in the middle of the night to nurse. I’m so excited for y’all and you will definitely learn as you go, y’all have this!!!
Without and I wouldn’t put the bed by windows, I’ve always kept my kids beds away from windows. Just in case someone try’s to break into your home. The decor is beautiful ❤️
i’ve had baby fever since i was a little kid tbh and this doesn’t help😭 i’m so excited to have kids and decorate a nursery and all that, i’m 17 though so i plan on giving it another 5 years or so but this is so exciting to me lol
OMG i can’t wait to see the full baby girl nursery:) and absolutely YES!!! LOVE the headboard with the crib makes the crib have more height 👌love u guys🩷🩷
My sister used that three tier cart as a movable changing station. You can wheel it out to the living room and put it next to the couch with you or even into you room next to the bed. That way you don’t have to go to her room every time you want to change her but you can wheel the cart back into her room if people come over. That way you don’t need changing stations in each room. You just have one that can move around with you wherever you go!
I can tell you’re gonna be the best mom and let your child do whatever they want if it’s safe and do you like cleaning and organizing your room because I am cleaning my room
I vote for no headboard, I would get some sort of non-smelling diaper pail because a regular garbage can is not going to hold the smell even if it's in a doggie bag, also you're not going to want to tie a doggie bag every single time you change a diaper. Just some advice that hopefully will help you out ❤
She can do what she wants it’s her and Josh’s child and they got dog poop bags that have a scent in them to keep them from smelling are you their daughters parent no it’s America freedom of choice
Can’t wait for the Baby Girl!!!! Ahhh❤ You guys are going to be amazing parents also the nursery looks adorable and I think you should keep the head board because it adds a pop of color and it’s really cute🤍
I like it with the headboard. Not sure if it would look odd once crib is lowered if it does not go down to the floor. The snuggle me is great when baby isn't rolling, monbabe bassinet from Walmart, water wipes, and Advent bottles. Definitely wash baby clothes in the same laundry soap you use because baby will be on you. Snuggle baby as much as you want, and do what is best for your family!
She has multiple bottles already they don’t need more and they decided no headboard it’s a safety hazard it can collect dust and it could make baby girl sick
Doctors recommend that baby clothes have to be washed in baby safe laundry detergent cause their skin is sensitive that’s why they use fragrance free baby wipes if they washed their daughters clothes in their laundry detergent it would harm her skin and cause her skin to dry out and bleed
So excited for the baby gurl!!! Just an idea, it would probably be better to get a bassinet and have baby girl in that in ur room until she gets a bit older for the crib. You guys are gonna be great parents! ❤
When babys are first born normally you put them in a cot next to your bed in your room so its easier to feed them in the night and then after a few months put them in there own room.

Katie you are so so gorgeous and I swear I need to stop watching your videos because Josh is so amazing my exceptions keep getting raised love you guys
It’s probably not a good idea for it to attach to their bed cause Katie is gonna need enough room to get up to use the bathroom at night and change her pad cause she will be in recovery mode
@@sarahloyd7276 They asked everyone for their opinions on what to get. This person was just giving theirs. You don't have to reply to every comment telling the person they are wrong. If Katie wants one to attach to her bed, she can. If she doesn't, she won't. Many mothers have bought the ones to attach to their beds and did just fine getting up to pee and taking care of the baby.
My product recommendations (I have a daughter and first-time Mom) Luvs diapers, water wipes, pack n play with bassinet for our room, waterproof mattress protector for under the crib sheet (get 2 in case if one gets dirty,) diaper genie, ceiling fan/fan for the room, sound machine.
