@@Speeds_Gaming_Corner Well that and it sort of engages my brain going when I'm at work and thinking about list building with the more active part of my brain while filling out excel sheets.
Make sure to check out the affiliate links in the description if you are considering picking up any of the units in the video! You'll save yourself some money and help support the channel!
I’ve been watching all your videos and am getting my friend to collect thousand sons using your budget list. Keep up the good work and here’s me asking for a Dark Angels on a budget 🙏
I am going to be updating my Thousand sons video to have affiliate links for buying the kits at a cheaper price. If your friend is interested in starting a Tsons army, consider asking them to purchase through those links. It helps support the channel and I am looking to do a give away as soon as I have earned enough to pay it off. Dark angels will be soon^tm. We're getting to the last armies. It may be a couple more months but we WILL get them done.
Love the video, and much appreciated information but point of correction > You can run Librarians in BT. The current 10th edition rules only limit the use of Psykers/Librarians in BT to the specific Black Templar detachment rule "Righteous Crusaders" not the chapter as a whole. Lore wise, you may be correct, but game wise players are not forbidden to use Librarians in a BT army as long as they don't use that detachment rule. You even mentioned that, as a divergent chapter, BTs get to use any units in the SM codex and Wahpedia still shows Librarian datasheets as a SM option for BT armies. I'm sure this will/has caused some shockwaves but it's true and talked about by Starhammer in one of his videos on BT starter armies. Sorry, not out of luck ;)
@@Speeds_Gaming_Corner Yea > that guy. I was kind of shocked when I heard it myself. Cool though, thinking about doing a Librarian with a blind fold held in chains by BT HBs, Desolation or some other shootie unit. I said they can use Librarians, didn't say they had to be nice about it lol!
Id actually build the 500 point list as vanguard spearhead. Give the lieutenant blade driven deep and the marshal the ghost weave cloak. This way the marshal sits in the impulsor alone and can be taxied up to board where she can run around doing secondary actions. Your opponent is not gonna bother chasing him down because they’ve just been charged by the infiltrating crusaders. That way your intercessor gets to do their thing and you have a 4th unit to control the battle field with.
That sounds fun, I don't run Black Templars but I'm wanting to do an Ironstorm style for my Blood Ravens. I recently picked up a Redemptor & a Scout squad without even thinking about it just cause they seemed cool and something I don't see everyone else running. I was thinking of adding a Stormraven gunship and just dropping the dreadnought around instead of getting so many tanks.
Redemptors and scouts are super popular! They're great solid choice even outside of ironstorm lists. Whenever I make a space marine list 2x scouts are the first thing in.
@@OuterHaven_Snake If you take a look at almost any space marine list in goonhammer, 90% of the time they have 2x scouts 1x ilfiltrator in the list. Redemptor dreads are in every ironstorm and about 30-40% of non ironstorm lists.
@@Speeds_Gaming_Corner ; I'll have to do my research then, I've only been watching RUclips videos from guys running other styles and what I see at local Warhammer shop. My main experiences revolve around my friend letting me play his Ork army against another Ork player and getting absolutely destroyed by his vehicles
@@Speeds_Gaming_Corner I buy all my warhammer from amazon and I have like 1200 points of stuff and I am already reaching 600$. 2x combat patrol, the scouts are like 55$ a box, can't buy a land raider yet but filled out with 2 ballistus dreads because point cost and money cost is manageable atm for me hoping next month I can get a case for this army, then land raider by November.
I'm here with alredy 5000 points of Black templars, but I'm gonna Watch this video anyway
Can totally relate! I've watched the csm one several times even though I'm pretty invested ready 😂. Same with the shorts.
glad to hear that the videos are entertaining enough to go rewatch!

and the 500pt ironstorm version is 213e
Just letting you know that I've heard the "competitive racism" joke before, but hearing you say it in your matter of fact tone _really_ got me.

Definitely not a bad option. I just kept them righteous crusaders for the sake of not making things too confusing!
Since CSM is getting its codex, do you plan on redoing a CSM video?
Yes.
