Ok, I have both soundhax files, my 3ds XL is on 11.13, it had the right file format for the SD card. But I don't know where to put the files because it lists Nintendo 3DS on the SD card. As for your video it just shows you dragging and dropping them onto an empty drive.

I got the correct region from soundha... mine is a japan 3ds original console. Firmware 9.4 and when i run the sound file it gives me a white top screen and red bottom screen and it just freezes there. I put everything the way this video did.

I followed this method, I didn't format the SD card in the 3DS, so was missing several folders. I added the AOI and the Soundhax: Eur 3.0 oldV firmware. and started the process... got to 3m 40s of your video...... and, OH No!! hahaha.... Now I get the msg: An error has occurred: Unsupported MCU FW version. Press any button to shutdown Is there anything that can be done to unbrick the console? try deleting everything inside your SD card, EXCEPT the Nintendo 3DS folder, then re extract the pack.

yes you can but it is not essential. you can play out of region games without changing the console region.
