Reinforcement of the army isn't once per turn so you're not hurt if you draw two. If you draw both Bonfires...you get a card you can discard unless the activation is negated.

That beatrice limit is the exact same thing a konami way to say "yes sure, enjoy it while it last, go crazy next 4 months but dont complain if we ban it next banlist"
Beatrice was something people could run 2 off, which was actually ideal if you where playing anything that had “make Bea turbo” as main or side quest, barring you got the space.

@@N12015 i get it that virtual world easy access to rank 9 made the card busted but I haven't seen any combo where they can end on 2 vfds.

This is the banlist before worlds, the percentages of decks in the last report doesn't even have a deck over 20% of representation, this means they don't need big hits for worlds, and will do them around September.
Not only that there are always cards waiting to be released in TCG and they always avoid hitting stuff that is too recent.
Yeah, logically it make sense to not change too much because of worlds and all, doesn't change that the ocg format is super toxic with the handtrap war running rampant.

@@Al-tanin I agree, I do think some hts are overtuned *cough* maxx c *cough* . But most HTs in general are fine. I think the issues are 1 card combos and that snake eyes or tenpai dragons gameplan, doesnt really change too much if you dont completely stop them with hts. Like with tenpai, ashing the fieldspell doesnt matter if they had paidra already in hand, it would still be an otk, ash on SE ash doesnt matter if they had any other extender the endboard is mostly the same.
…The field spell to one is back breaking for Tenpai. Their damage thresholds plummet if the field spell is removed and they don’t have enough gas for the long game.
Tenpai will probably fall off completely with this hit.

The field spell hit is very good, it's insane seeing people saying oh it just makes the game more gambly wether they have it or not.
No it makes removal on it have ACTUAL impact, Sangen Summoning doesn't have a once per turn activation clause like some other Field spells, because of this using removal on it BEFORE the limit is gambly because they can just activate another one. Now removal on it us actual high impact.
As OCG Players , This Banlist Probably Fire
Captult Turtle Ban being Too Consistant FTK with 1 Card Combo and Kaiser for Floodgates , Limit Sangen For Tenpai and Beatrice for Fiendsmith
Atleast Kirin And Plushfire is Back for PePe 2.0 ( of course with electrume ) and once again OCG being OCG with Jokingly Semi Limited List : )
They could have banned beatrice then. TCG has had one for a long time.

@@Lian00it's a "warning" about the usage, and the prevention of it being used again in the next turn. High Wave King and Closed Moon will also have their turn in the upcoming banlist. This makes more sense if you remember maxx c exists, which also means that turn 4 onward does exist in OCG for all kind of decks.
Semi-Limits is the best part of OCG list and there should be more cards at 2. If cards at 2 do nothing why don't you play just 2 of everything?

Tachyon FTK.
It had a FTK with any Horus plus numerous dragon. If you didn’t draw imperm or double veiler it was FTK
For anyone who doesn't know, Catapult Turtle got banned because of the Tachyon FTK.
To add, no Tachyon wasn't meta but it was basically the best FTK around together with Gimmick Puppet so that's why they banned Turtke and limited the non-HOPT Gimmick Puppet xyz.
Turtle is a very good hit, no deck that uses it will ever use it for something creative or interesting, same reason why Cannom Soldier and Amazoness Archer are banned in the OCG.
Same as why Bishbaalkin was banned in Master Duels, because of a toxic FTK that while it wasn't meta, it was unfun to play against and very annoying unless you draw the outs.
It's the first time in years that we have 0 banned pendulum monsters in the ocg

Master rule 6 needs to introduce a continuous zone to make floodgates less effective. Floodgates or continuous cards limited a singular zone or 2.
oh time seal gives me nostalgia like crazy....i top 16ed a sjc with deck that had 3 main time seal and 2 drop off....i might have been the first to top a sjc with drop off in my main board....i lost for top 8 by adam "i cant stop cheating" corn as at the time i didnt know and he stacked 4 cards in a row 2 games straight....opening up 1 of's 4 different cards in both games
But the Dark Souls deck deserves its bonfires.
Sangen Summoning the only fine, hit, maybe the puppet one, Catapult and Kaiser so obvious. TCG Last list you did a B- try to be among that range please.
Catapult turtle being banned in 2024 what a hilarious time to be alive along with the mulchummy, maxx c duo being allowed is insane.
The ocg does deliver banlists pretty regularly and that's commendable. The fact they don't always do anything isn't. Still better than tcg most of the time though.

As someone who has exclusively played BA / PK since 2016: I miss when Beatrice was used for Dante rather than a generic foolish :/
I just find it hilarious yet pathetic that a number of TCG players are still complaining about one card that is Maxx C. Despite its status as forbidden in the TCG. Triggered over a 'hand trap'
As for the OCG, interesting choice on certain cards, but overall the hits seemed reasonable. Time will tell how the OCG format will change. Especially with Rage of the Abyss and other packs.
I can't believe we live in a world where catapult turtle is banned. Well, same thing happened to cannon soldier.
Now I hope TCG gives us back Masterplan. Deck would be doing almost nothing with her back.

@@number-qx1kw I was more thinking master rule update. Higher minimum deck counts, life points increase, limit the number of special summons or going back to a 10 card extra deck.
Catapult turtle was always a card that could have been banned, it has had the capacity to FTK.

I only play Master Duel, it feels so wrong when i see ocg ban lists because they control both formats...
The resolution or not of Maxx C will keep deciding the outcome of every game it presents itself forever and ever.
i was coping too hard on mulchummy been a replacement. When the time comes if they don't ban Maxx C to bring mulchummy on MD i'm uninstalling, i already only play the events where maxx c is banned otherwise i dont care about the format, the meta or whatever, maxx c keeps deciding games on its own.
Why not try playing the TCG format? MAxxC is banned there.

Another disappointing list that won't have an effect on the gameplay of the top decks. It just prevents a few FTKs of rogue / teir 3 decks. Very sick of these consistency hits for decks that just need to be taken out of the meta

@Greg501- if they really want that, they should ban crossout, called by and ash. Otherwise combo decks will continue to dominate and the misery of playing against a full board and maxxc will continue

This is less impactful than most MD banlists. I don't know what's going to needs to happen before Maxx C gets at least semi limited. They had their chance here and didn't take it.

Catapult turtle will come off the ban list until it gets a new erratas as hard once per turn.
It's already a soft once per turn. As long as you can get a monster with 16000 attack on board, it's dangerous.

An new update of catapult turtle effects is tribute a monster with below 16,000 too 8000 attack points.
Bruh catapult turtle got banned right as I started using it in my tachyon build. Every time I join in the degeneracy cards get banned💀

One of the worst banlists of all time. These last ocg banlists were terrible. What a shame.
These hits almost don't matter. Catapult ban is good to stop the ftk. Fiendsmith snake eye lost almost no consistency, tenpai lost 2 fieldspells, which also doesn't hit the consistency enough. Beatrice limit doesnt matter s:p limit is not that relevant. AND NO MAXX C HIT AGAIN, wtf man.
Really happy to be playing TCG even though the banlist isn't perfect. Master Duel has the same banlist philosophy, pretty much ruining the game for me so I would really like if the ocg fixed their mess, maybe master duel also does that then.
MD can afford to do that because it's a new list almost every month so things will be addressed before they are in ocg and even tcg

@@AG30 With Bystials or another engine making a lvl6 on the field you can make 2 Beatrice then an F0 I guess, or 4 quick effect mills. For example in Fiendsmith Tear if you hit Shyama or Mali you can use both Tear fusion effects on the same turn, or allow bs like quick effect Winda etc.
For a meta deck I have no idea.
Hot take but since TOSS format, TCG banlists have been consistently better than OCG ones, despite sometimes having terrible formats or the dreaded "no changes" joke.

I always laugh at your hate for kaiser colosseum. Because card was seeing no play AT ALL, until last year in the OCG. And the card was banned for ruling issues here in the TCG in 2015.
This also seems to be a trend among us TCG players where we lose our mind when cards we have here that get banned here, start showing up in OCG play

Kaiser was always stupid but tcg banned it before it truly became an issue due to those ruling issues. Now it can stay banned.
OCG didn't have decks that could win off one monster + kaiser as much as they did last year either

They are directly hitting sneks and tenpai, which is more than I could say about the last tcg list.
They hit 2 of the 3 best deck with direct hit to much tunnel vision on shit like SP to 1 and beatrice
@@uctungle6773 The Snake hit just make room for Fiendsmith to make said hit completely irrelevant. About Tenpai, while I hate card design like Sangen eliminating player interaction, they are Dragon War Rocks without their field spell.
@@babrad the snek build is already playing full fiendsmith package even without ash and bonfire hit so what are you making room for? Also I don't know what point you are trying to make regarding the tenpai hit.
@@uctungle6773 They play 3-1-1 fiendsmiths when they can play a 2nd Sanctum or the Quickplay, Poplar is also typically at 2 when it can easily replace the 1 SnAsh that got removed, and I've seen some lists cutting down on Diabel that could still be maxed out and the ratio of starters remains the same.
About Tenpai, unless it's a best of one or the deck they face is extremely weak to Maxx C / Shifter, they are mediocre and only the field spell allowed them a chance to do their gimmick against meta decks.

@@vanguardRailgun924I can assure you it’s not. Tachyon recently got support that lets it pump out multiple rank 8s not even using its normal summon. Combined with some galaxy eyes support to search out numbers creation to cheat out a numeron dragon with one material (all it needs to use its effect to pump itself to 16k atk) and then using your normal for catapult turtle, bam FTK
