The new support is cool but I am kinda bummed that their play style isn’t changing up from just gateway turbo. It really does just make for turns that are way too long
I fear xsaber in same boat bc u can’t give em support that’ll help swarm without getting hand loop shenanigans

Despite being an X-Saber fan I really would rather them not get support at all til they figure out how they're going to balance it.
Easy option would be to ban gottems and then just go all out on the support but I feel like Konami WANTS gottems to be a part of the deck which is the problem
@@BlackBeartic229 maybe a generaider route and let the opponent draw cards lol, or they can add a restriction to a main support card where u can only activate gottem once
@@dylanwastaken5766 Honestly? The former idea makes sense. I never understood why handlooping just perma rips like that. Most other card games have measures that don't make it as degenerate.
So yeah i like the idea. But i'd say maybe make the draws at end phase because people will definitely figure out how to deck out your opponent otherwise.

This new Shi En is what Chixiao dreams to be. Answer to Nib and handtraps in general, search + negate on the same turn, once per copy for the negate and has protection for itself.

I've been playing the new support on Omega for about a week now as it updated earlier than EDO.
Throughout my testing, I'm finding that the deck has a lot more success when played as more of a mid-range combo deck. Similar to sword soul.
What I'm finding is if I try to go toward gateway first they are typically going to negate it and stop me from getting to it and then I've used too many resources to follow up but if I just focus on putting out a few synchros and great shogun backed up with non engine handtraps im still winning most of the games i play even without gateway
Have u tried the six strike trap in your build or is it too situational since it requires u to remove a Bushido counter?

There is the new Vanilla monster support with Chamberlain existing for six sam. Since it is a lv3 earth nontuner it's also access to beast with the new lv2 tuner
Also no gateway is at 1 in OCG. They limited it after the master rule change which freed the extra deck zone in anticipation for people doing extra deck loops plays

@@CaliburXL99 as in standard combo, 3 kizans to alembertian, and you only need 1 red 1 blue to ftk since rest of support gives you enough counters to get there (you dont need the infinite anymore to ftk)
@@carbonjoshg4288 I mean if you’re going that route u could also sub in Legendary Secret of the Six samurai(that no 6 Sam list I’ve seen is playing for some reason). For 1 of those Kizans tho FTKing with 6 Sams sounds gimmicky imo.

You can do a loop with evilswarm ouroboros and free kizan summons to hand loop for 3
You can loop five with Omega & Emeral
Correct me if I’m wrong but if they maxx c you now can’t you just set up negates for their hand traps and deck them out. (At least in the ocg)
Decking them under maxxc has been the alt wincon of 6sam since red blue was printed
Well you have to do that against ash, 3 veiler, 3 imper and nib
you don't negate their hand traps you just play trought nib, as long as they do not destroy gateway you can play trough most handtraps

This deck doesnt banish so lancea does nothing, gateway doesnt target so dd crow does nothing(also they can make leviair to revive samurai u crow or they make the new enishi synchro to revive banished samurais that u dd crow’d)

the amount of turners is limited, you can only special the lvl 2 and the lvl 3 once, unless you keep looping saryuja

@shadowdraqon2479 and yet he almost never goes for multiple and instead goes for a redundant apo. Apo is most likely never getting more than one negate (especially on 3 mats) so a second shien is almost always better as it doesn't clog your EMZ and has protection.
This deck can do literally anything in the game if it goes uninterrupted since it fosters infinite materials with Gateway yet we settle on a board that loses to a lot of board breakers every game.
If anything you hold the Apo for opponent's turn to make with IP to have something worthwhile against a board breaker.

The actual reason is becuz he can be revived off of gateway’s 3rd effect as a way to play thru nibiru
The other reason is he makes it possible to get 4 monsters with different names on the field to make saryuja and get the draw 4 effect, if u dont have shadow shien in your extra deck u will have battle shogun/grandmaster/multiple kizans on field and u can make saryuja by treating battle shogun as a 2 link material but u wont get the draw 4 effect

More extenders, more combos
8:00 six samurai can deck out the opponent if they drop maxx c even if the opp has a 9 trillion card main deck. This deck can summon infinitely. The only weakneses are going 2nd and imperm/veiler/droll/ghost ogre.
Really hope they finally get rid of gateway and give the deck something else
C'est bien du nouveau support pour cette archétype je l'aime bien, mais je suis toujours déçu de voir que d'autres sont délaisser comme par exemple protecteur du tombeau qui n'a jamais eu du support qui l'amène à devenir un deck viable face au méta actuel.
Run Islode, 1 lvl 1 tuner is OK then and it's a insulator vs ash blossom.
The new support makes the ftk possible again... its juat gonna take forever.😅
My brain was turning into a noodle from watching those combos. I love Six Sam, but sometimes I forget how mind melting their plays can be, almost as bad as Ritual Beasts.
Its pretty simple, u loop kizans into battle shogun’s arrow pointed zones to get extra counters, then make saryuja draw 4 cards then search mizuho/shinai with gateway then summon both then do infinite red/blue combo. Now u have 9 trillion bushido counters which can handloop or ftk or set up 9000 negates
I just hope this deck remains unplayable. There are just some decks that are best left at table 500 for the health of the game. 🙏

His decklist runs a total of 5 non-engine (8 if you cound fenrir), and doesn't even run basic Handtraps like Ash or Imperm. Idk if the archetype itself is playable but the deck showcased in the video isn't doing anything real
Just look the list is running pretty zero not engine is unplayable already the engine is to heavy and weak to hand traps

One of two things will happen- the deck will see a lot of success as a mid-range Swordsoul style deck. Or it will see success as an annoying deck that wastes time in tournaments putting a bunch of counters all over the place and then just wins in time with some random synchro.

Thats y u cant listen to most people stating stuff about six samurai, they dont know. Which is fair i guess cuz this isnt a meta deck so most people wouldnt know.
Even lithium himself thinks maxx c keeps samurai in check in this video at 8:00, he doesnt know that six samurai can summon infinitely and deck out the opponent if they use maxx c. Its actually a win condition for six samurai.
You have no idea how much potential the Six Samurai and the samurai players have piloting a deck they know as if it was their family.

Yup definently not looking forward to having to play against any of this stuff in 4 months time. Would be interested to see what the deck could evolve and do without Gateway being a card but that probably also = it not being very viable.

Hmhm, thing is, if you can pull that off, you prob don’t need the 3rd because Kizans and Grandmaster do the same.
More blue/red means more normal summons.

You can test it all you want, without Gateway of the Six at 3, the deck is dead on arrival.

Dumb people dont know that six samurai can special summon 9 trillion times and deck out people that use maxx c or multichummy.
Its gonna be fun watching people like u at locals side in multichummy against me at locals with a grin on their face as i proceed to special summon 9999999999999999999999 times and make not only u deck out but also every single person on the planet.
@@shadowdraqon2479 Okay then explain to me how you play around non-engine drawn off of multchummy assuming that they have also sided in ghost ogre. Sure you could bring out that new monster negate, but they can just wait unti they can just chain around it.

I don't know. Ogre is being played again, and the six samurai link can be negated with three handtraps at least. Droll can do a good damage to the player turn.

Wow… this is the first time where I fully with all my being disagree and loath a lithium gameplay video.
Starting the video off saying the secret six samurai’s are bad is mind blowing when Kizaru is a net +3, and hatsume plays into braking your opponents board when losing the die roll.
Plus your not playing legendary secret of the six samurai which is mandatory in the new build as it’s a free extention chain blocker that also turns ascetiscism on for both monk and instructor.
Cunning of the six samurai is very good for ignoring the opponents Veiler, imperm HOWEVER using crossout is far superior because keeping the shogun on board always ends with a 3 material apollousa.

Crossout forces you for handtraps. We’re in a format where decks like Yubel and Snake eyes play througj your 2-3 handtraps. Since Sams are a combo deck without solid 1 card starters, you can’t play many handtraps, so I go board breakers.
I disagree also, most other sams aren’t that good and are not needed because the new ones accomplish the same.
Kizaru is terrible. He is a shet version of stratos, search for a monster that isnt an attribute u already control on the field? Plus kizaru only gets his effect off when special summoned, stratos searches for any hero doesnt matter what the attribute is and gets his when normal or special summoned, if u play kizaru, u r dum.
This is diabolical gameplay. I really don't like this deck or Gateway.
Six Samurai - the most boring solitaire deck that exists. I hate playing against this deck because I have to sit there for 25 minutes watching someone combo...
