I think the "should or should not" open door question is soooo weird. Like what planet are you guys from? Here everyone opens the door for everyone, it is just the polite thing to do and has nothing to do with gender.
diamondsofsix I know right. Although it was funny in primary school when I’d be first in line at the end of the day so I open the door to leave but then I end up holding it for everyone and only get like 4/29 thank yous. 3 being from my besties and 1 being from somebody in a good mood
nobody should be attacking or abusing anybody but yes, you defend yourself. for most of them, as long as you are not hurting anybody, go ahead and live your own life
Why is everyone freaking out that he's Pro-Life? That's his decision and you should respect it. He's not forcing the belief on you, he's just saying what he's for. If you don't like it then just watch something else, it's not th a hard people.
Well at least we can agree that "Soy Milk" is not the correct term, and I suppose the awesomeness of being served in a banana leaf would be great enough to endure some soy =D
Should men pursue women? Storyyyy Tiiiime! I know a person who would stay after school until the girl he liked got out of her class, but it's okay because they got married later.
The thing about men hitting woman, definitely not if it's abuse, but I think the whole not fighting a girl even if there's a valid reason just because they're girls is just stupid. When I was like, 12, I was mad at some random kid, and he wouldn't fight me because I was a girl, an wasn't equal to him in his eyes. I wasn't just gonna punch some kid while he stood there.
If there's a reason to justify it, I think that it's okay to hit someone(regardless of gender). When I say a reason to justify it, I mean that they do something like throw the first punch, beat the shit out of your sibling, or anything that is illegal.
I usually disagree with your opinions when it comes to gender roles but I love how open you are to discussion. Most people are not like that and I think your approach to this creates a safe place to discus things and I appreciate that.
The "should men hit women" one, well, I believe in true equality. And the simplest way to explain it is, "Any reason to hit a man, is equal reason to hit a woman." Now I'm not condoning violence at all. But if you need to defend yourself, defend yourself. If you need to defend someone else, defend them. But if in a situation where a man can hit a man, the same situation applies to women. And if a woman can hit a man, the reverse should be true as well.
Not many see it that way. A woman can attack a man, and when he defends himself, people will come to the defense of the woman (in the moment and long after), even though they know she started it. Has been my experience.
+rainynight02 Well as in self defense, if you are in serious danger, you hit. If someone just hits you out of anger, you don't hit back. If that slap somehow physically harmed you, you get away or something. But I guess if a woman can hit a man in society for no reason, yeah, it's sexist. I personally just vie for the no violence option.
I like how he tackled abortion. Women tend to forget that men are involved in the creation of a fetus just as much as the women are. If the man is in a relationship with the woman, and plans on helping to raise any children they have together, he'll have an opinion on the issue. While it is ultimately the woman's decision, as it is her body, the father's voice should be heard. They shouldn't be completely disregarded just because they're not the ones carrying the child or giving birth. And pro making good decisions is always a good stance to have on any topic :)
+robbytheman what if the person was raped or the condom broke better planning wouldn't help in either of those situations. And anyway isn't it better to not have a child than to not be able to take care of them after you born, having an abortion before the fetus has a conciseness is sometimes a better and kinder option than raising a child is some situations.
+robbytheman litteraly couldn't be more wrong. It's people like you who make young adults feel ashamed to have sex. By saying that someone SHOULD wait until marriage makes them feel as if sex in all is bad - married or unmarried. Not to mention the fact that saying that condoms "almost never work" is #1 completely false and #2 only increasing the chance of teen pregnancy by presenting this underlying message of, "Why use condoms at all?".
well any nondisfunctional family unit should talk about anything that concerns both of them. However the woman should have the final say. They are the ones that have to deal with the health issues associated with.
SuperCarlinBrothers Men actually should watch their soy intake. Apparently it boosts estrogen levels which can in turn cause some body parts to grow too much and others shrink. I'll let you fill in the blanks.
About the one where you said you cant hit a woman(I posted this on a different video)... I honestly hate the whole thing that you can't hit a woman. Speaking as a female myself, we are women yes but we are also human. We do have different body parts, but we eat breath and sleep. You aren't hitting a woman, you are hitting a human. I believe in equality, which means that we are all human. Gender doesn't matter. I'm sorry if you disagree or try and argue with me and change my mind, but that was just how i was raised and i will not change my mind.
I agree. (I'm a girl, too.) Girls shouldn't be hitting guys, and guys shouldn't be hitting girls. It sounds cheesy, but physical violence really doesn't solve anything. :/
As a male, I think that gender roles are idiotic. I also think that most gender stereotypes are stupid(a common one is that men are stronger than women. Well, most females that I know could probably knock out most of the males that I know.)
That "Should Men Wear Thongs" one has a cleaner answer in Australia: As long as you're not wearing socks underneath them. (Aussies call sandals "thongs").
can you put captions on these cause I'm partially deaf or in other less fancy words hearing impaired. I love your videos just have some trouble understanding them
I do enjoy these videos and I have to say this one was risky to put up, I'm aware that times have changed from 2013 but men can were things, jewelry, and do anything women can do. I do agree with your statement on abortion though
Actually soy is high in estrogen and some doctors have theorized that men consuming lots of soy could increase risk for prostate cancer. So there's a reason why people were searching that
I thought the video was gonna be about if men should autofill anything. I'm a dumb. But I really enjoyed this one!!! Thursday and Friday I'm gonna be busy because of prom and graduation rehearsal, so I'm gonna be watching later :(. But you should also talk about what's next for SCB.

I have always been pro choice but this opened up a whole new thing to mull over. Should men have a say in abortion? While I think the expecting should talk to each other and take both feelings into account, my next thought was how would we enforce it? Probably by requiring a signature or sign off of some sort before the procedure. Could you imagine being forced to term with a baby you did not intend to keep, your body being pushed to limits you didn't want to have a baby? I just feel like women have the right to say what happens with their bodies, and the baby is growing inside of them so I think they should have the ultimate choice. However I respect if you disagree ! :)
sure, if a guy is willing to pay medical expensise and look after the child full time, he should have a say, but if he is saying she shouldn't have an abortion but is not willing to raise the child himself, then no... a girl may not want the child in her life, she got pregnant and regretted it, she wants to live child free, not be bogged down in parenting. if a guy is willing to raise the child all on his own, fine, he could say that he would take the child, and the girl wouldn't as much as have to feed them one bottle. then he should have a say.
Either at the end of the week or the beginning of "year 2" (assuming there is one), you should do a video on if there is a plan for any changes/what you are going to do/anything differently... not sure how vague that was but yeah.
I agree with you so much about abortion, especially that men should have a say in it. I pretty much agreed with you on everything except Zoomba because I don't know what that is. I hope you two will continue making videos after the year-long conversation is finished.
I think that you response to the vitamins question should be applied to a good deal of these. If it has no harm and it eases your mind or makes you feel better, do it.
I agree with you and affirm your pro-life stance and respect you very much for proclaiming it and not shying away from the topic. It's not an easy stance to have in today's public view. So Again Good Job!
Duuuude, you should have avoided the abortion question altoge-ther~ I'm not in the mood for debating but, actually the whole having a say thing... Not saying you can't voice your opinion, but... the final say should be the woman's because, dude, it's her body. The problem is the implication that the woman is NOT entirely owner of her own body and thus somebody can decided for her, and sure the "baby" should be 50% each (not a property, but still), but the whole of the gestation process ocurrs in the mother's body so.... yeah. Abortion is not something somebody else but the mother should be deciding about...
Also, completely disagree on not being able to be friends with a female if your girlfriend has a problem with it. That's fucked up. And it's similarly fucked up if it's the other way round. People don't seem to realize how much this is a problem that should not be indulged...
You just discredited your own argument. First you said that it's the woman's body, then you said that it's IN the woman's body. And you are right about that last part. The child develops inside the mother's body. That means that it is not her body, but the child's. That means it's the child's decision. And since we can't communicate with a child who hasn't learned to speak yet, I think that they should have the child (if they don't want it they can put it up for adoption), then after the child has learned to speak, ask them if they wouldn't mind if they had killed them. I wonder if the child's decision would be the same as yours?
+ibtrumpet513 When someone's in a coma on life support and can't speak their mind, all medical decisions go to the spouse or a close relative. In this case, the literally closest relative is the pregnant woman. They're also the life support. Sure, there's a chance that the fetus could be born, but there's also a chance for a miscarriage, in the same way that for a person in a coma there's a chance to recover or to die. But in the case of the fetus, there's also the chance for medical complications as well as significant pain to the pregnant woman. This adds a separate dynamic between the two cases, and shifts it to a medical decision entirely for the pregnant woman.
