  • This is the first in an anticipated 3-part video series on the construction of my third stave snare drum. I'm working with minimal tools, so if that's your thing, this should be right up your street.
    NOTE: If you're here just for the drums or the woodworking (or both), and it just so happens that you're NOT totally interested in my family's vlogs and hauls and whatever else, leave me a comment. If there's enough interest, I'll keep doing these videos and start up a new channel dedicated to drum building. There's tremendous potential here for a LOT MORE VIDEOS on the topic, I think, and, too, this is something I plan on doing for a long time. Cheers, and THANKS FOR WATCHING!
    Chechen, by the way, also goes by the name "Caribbean Rosewood." I think a later project may just have to be a marimba....
