Nice Choice. How has it been ? Heard the seat loss issue, maybe attach a coil type cord under the seat to prevent that. That cupholder in the center looks useless, maybe glue/bolt a better one to it. I love the color. I hear the seats are noisy, saw a guy dismantle his and wrap the frame with rubber. Is there a bimini for when you get caught out in bad weather? What does it weigh ?How are you storing it ? Hopefully you have it hanging from the rafters .Any drive issues ? I hear you can run 80/90 gear weight in it to quiet/ smooth it out it.
Nice "unwrapping" of your new Native Slayer Propel 10! I have a Hobie Pro Angler 12, which has been great, but looking something lighter and easier to transport rather than on a trailer. Love the fact the Slayer Propel fits inside your Tahoe. Look forward to seeing more of your vids fishin out of the new Slayer Propel 10.
BlackAnvil47 I am not for sure on that I am a catch-and-release guy anyway so I wasn't really looking to purchase one of those. I'm sure if somebody knows the answer to that
im planning on getting a Native Titan 10.5 and I have a tahoe too. Looks like you have the Slayer 10 fit inside well. What are you thoughts on the Titant 10.5 going inside the tahoe?
my hatch is slightly open and im racheting the door down. The boat is rachet to my loop anchor points inside the cab. Nothing really sticks out much. My license plate, break lights are all visable and putting a red flag out for legality reasons. This is just temporary until i invest in a trailer. I had to have the titan!!!!
@@TopwaterTony I want the 10.5 but I have a cheap 10' and my SUV barely closes so before spring I am purchasing the propel 10 myself. That 10.5 is a step up from what I am seeing but I prefer to close my door and can easily make do with the 10
Agree about cartopping larger kayaks Topwater, How you liking that Slayer 10? I was looking at that same kayak, but never took one out yet. Plus those guys at RRT are a good crew!
Booker Reese well the times I've used my kayak it overall has been great. I didn't use it as much as I thought because I kept going out in my boat but I would say the pros are it's a very stable kayak very comfortable seems to track well and it is very sturdy. I can't think of any cons since I've had it. I do plan on using it much more than I have in the past :-)
Bill York unfortunately it's been kind of cold and windy here and I've only have the kayak out one time but I did really like it felt real nice and I can't wait to get out in it again
Austin Odell hey man thank you so much I am definitely trying to get better at this editing stuff :-) please keep watching and share the videos thank you!
Can you purchase a Slayer 10 w/o the pedal drive?
I am not sure you would have to check their website
Looking at the Feel Free lure 10.5 $739.00 or the Slayer Propel 10 $2.139.00 depending on your area.
BlackAnvil47 the first two kayaks were the lifetime and the ascend and there are videos of both of those on my channel
I didn't find them I will look again, Appomattox River Company in Virginia have the Slayer 10
Clearance price of $2,100.00
i like the Slayer 10 the best :)
the older videos arent too far back in the list.

P-Dub hey thank you so much :-) I'm hoping I can get out in it this week fingers crossed
P-Dub looking forward to more on the water footage with the Slayer!! I just ordered mine a couple of days ago!
Really like this kayak too. How is this for shorter people (like 5'6")?
RLH1510 I'm 5'7" and feels good for me
Wonder would the HOBIE live well xl or standard fit or could be used with the boat?
BlackAnvil47 I am not for sure on that I am a catch-and-release guy anyway so I wasn't really looking to purchase one of those. I'm sure if somebody knows the answer to that
I used to have a 10 but found that the 13 tracked better and was even slightly faster. Sold the 10 but kinda miss it for small streams/rivers.
nice rides
What were your first two kayak choices?
BlackAnvil47 1st was one by Acend and 2nd was a Lifetime musky angler
BlackAnvil47 I have videos of those as well
Still on the fence Lure 10 or Slayer 10 all of the Slayer 10's that were being sold for $2,199.00 is no longer available $2,299.00 is the
New Deal
BlackAnvil47 still not bad tho
im planning on getting a Native Titan 10.5 and I have a tahoe too. Looks like you have the Slayer 10 fit inside well. What are you thoughts on the Titant 10.5 going inside the tahoe?
a big MAYBE... my 10 barely fits.
Just bought the Titan 10.5 and yes too big! but worth it
MOBBIN Outdoors so are you going to just leave the back doors open or put it on top?

how did you get that color? I don't see it anywhere and not even on Native website.
hmm at the time i ordered mine it was available
Is this a good Kayak for #1? I'm in Tampa area so it's for the Gulf Fishing...
JAHN BecX I've never used a kayak there so I'm not for sure. But I bet there's kayak users in Florida that use them
JAHN BecX there is a Native Watercraft Propel owners group on Facebook I'm sure someone there can help you
Thanks, Tony, will def check them out... was looking for the 'Ocean Kayak' Electric model but they discontinued that model, ;(
JAHN BecX you're welcome :)
Great episode Tony. Keep us updated. I'm headed out next week to demo the slayer, the new ray, and a few hobie's.
Delaware River Fishing Dude hey thank you :-) and that sounds like a fun shopping trip good luck!

411sponge72 thank you so much! I definitely can't wait to get on the water and to get some videos in my new ride :-) please keep watching
Hey Tony. Since you've had your new Slayer for a little while, how do you like it?
